Hmmm, it's time for me to buckle down and get some posts written. I have a few new ideas rattling around that need to be doodled, but can't do that until I take care of my current stories. :)

Will keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers. I was stage 3C and given 3 months to live. Still here years later thanks to the powers that be lots of hard work, diet change and perseverance ..so it can be done.:)

It's a sad, sad statement about my life when I'm more excited about my work crush / husband / whatever it is between us coming back from a two week vacation than my husband coming back from his business trip earlier this month. :(

However, the good news is John's bound to bring out some more *cough* creativeness to my thinking. Or at the very least will help make work pass by quicker! ;)

Car shopping today...

Get to spend the day looking for a new car as mine was totaled last week as a result of the flash flood. No family is in town so we get to drag the kids along with us. Fun fun!

Hiya HF! Got it narrowed down to three. Unfortunately they're all different enough that it's making it hard to make a final decision. For some reason, my hubby won't let me do "eeny meeny"... :rolleyes:
 
Do you mins sharing which ones? Perhaps I can help... or just confuse you further. lol
 
My key requirements were good gas mileage (need a commuter car cuz we live ~45 minutes from my office), at least a 4-seater and car payments under our "old one"... Everything after that is just bells and whistles (although tell the hubby that, and...).

Got it narrowed down to Toyota Camry Hybrid, Honda Accord Hybrid and the Kia Optima Hybrid... After being dragged around to VW, Acura, Lexus and BMW dealers.

If only magic carpets were available... ;)
 
Well you certainly can't go wrong with Toyota or Honda from a reliability perspective... And I've heard that KIA has really stepped up their game in quality. Sounds like any of them would be a good choice. You might want to see if you county offers Hybrid incentives as far as taxes go. They were popular for a while, but most have been phased out. If they still offer one, it might tip the scales a bit.

Not sure if I was any help or not. LOL
