All the years Billy was growing up, his parents annually took a week long trip to a convention, and would have saggy baggy old Mrs. S come babysit billy & his two younger sisters.

Now 18 Billy asks to be left in charge, but Mom & Dad decide that he is not yet old enough to watch the house, cook & watch his two sisters, 12 & 10. So they book Mrs. S. she is due to arrive though an hour after they have to leave for the airport.

At the appointed hour. the doorbell rings. billy opens it to find not Mrs. S. but her nubile 25 year old niece, who explains that Mr. S had sudden chest pain so Mrs. S took him to the hospital. The niece is there to take care of things until Mrs. s can get there....

Instead Billy broke his leg & sprained his arm, and that's why the 25 yearsold sitter/family friend needs to watch Billy's sisters. She's also a nursing student & she ends up helping Billy a lot more than she helps his sisters.

Its fine to have under age characters in a story as long as they are not sexually involved, but the site is paranoid with under 18 so reference them and their ages as little as possible.

In fact I would lose them altogether. Parents are going away and they don;t trust their 18 year old son alone for a week. if nothing else they don't want him fucking all over the house or having a party so they bring in his old babysitter -who he has not seen a in a couple of years as they leave him alone for a few hours at a time just not a whole week-and the niece shows up.

Of course it could also be like the "rape" rule and the underage rule. Things are occasionally enforced, but for the most part its....yeah right.

As for the younger siblings? As I said I see no need for them to be there. Many parents will not leave an 18 year old alone for a few days and if will find someone to watch them and if they don;t have a family member available then....

I like my 18 yearold breaks leg angle, so a nursing student sitter/neighbour friend is requested. That doesn't have to be your path, but you should pick something plausible that would lead to supervision. NO ONE GETS A BABYSITTER AT 18, SO YOUR REASON NEEDS TO BE PLAUSIBLE, the "we don't trust him doesn't fly." You can fight a war vote, at 18 your an adult.

Love this idea! You are my absolute favorite, sirhugs. I actually squeal a little bit when you post in the Story Ideas forum.

I'd also axe the younger siblings. It would provide some extra tension — having to sneak around behind their backs, trying to get rid of them, worrying they'll walk in on something they shouldn't see, etc. — but it seems this site doesn't look kindly on that sort of tension.

I think it would make perfect sense for the parents to decide at the last minute that a babysitter is needed. I'm thinking of the scene in Dazed and Confused where the parents are going out of town, and right before they leave, the guy shows up early with the keg delivery. Oops!

I'd definitely keep Mrs. S. Maybe even start with her as the babysitter, and something happens to her after her watch begins. Is her charge responsible, or just profiting from good fortune?

As of 2013 I got away with a story with a babysitter with the two kids removed cus I didn't see the point. I've got another one that's pretty much the same premise. Parents don't trust their 18 year old home alone, hire a babysitter, the dead at least partially as a consolation prize hires a hotty for his son to oggle, said son is a virgin and managed to not be at the end of the day.

When My wife and I went on a cruise a few years back my girls were 19 and 16 and my sister stayed with them. Its not that I don't trust them but.... kids are kids and they do...kid things. all may have been well or the house might have been party central.

18 is not old enough to alone for that period of time. Okay, not the average 18 year old these days. Years ago it was a little different there was more maturity by that age than there is now.

I only suggest ditching the kids to avoid any accidental under age issues

The parents organise a friend to come over and help out, but (for some reason) they can't. So they send their 18+ year old dog loving niece (NOT that sort of loving) to help... And cue the fun.

Unbeknownst to the guy and his parents, she's been studying tattoo art. While she has the guy at her mercy, she illustrates him. Totally. Maybe with dog tattoos. After he recovers he's only fit for a circus sideshow, or a yakuza gang, or a death-metal band, DOGFUCKERS FROM HELL.

but the son's disgust at being babysat was part of the emotional underlay I envisioned- his anger makes him act even more immature, a hurdle to overcome once he wants to seduce the substitute sitter.
