Wow, I love both of their work.

I think Sophie Turner (Sansa) portrays a spoiled, young 14 Y.O perfectly.

To be fair, her storyline hasn't exactly allowed her a vast range. Shallow little girl to put upon victim. Her storyline gets a little more complex in future, and her character...matures.

The only characters and storyline that tend to bore me, Is Daenerys. Loved it before she became Dothraki khal's widow. I loved their story and relationship.

Since I have not read the books and have no idea what's coming next, I hope I get pulled more deeply into that plot.

Her storyline drags in the books as well. I think Martin wants to make a point about how the realities of having to rule bogs down the ambitions of leaders.

There is a popular fan theory that she will follow in her father's footsteps and go insane.

That, I get, and it's beginning to be hinted at in the TV series. But I dl GoT from Pirate Bay on a Monday evening when I get home from work and I'm always tempted to fast forward through any scene with her in. That can't be right.

The problem with her storyline on the show is, no Strong Belwas.

The better theory is that Barristan Selmy, would could have ended her father's reign of terror but did not, will kill her to stop her from committing some horrendous act.

He was actually a more interesting character in the books. I understand why they couldn't do it on film, hiding your identity is a lot harder when a couple of million people aren't going, "that's the dude that got kicked out of the King's Guard!"
 
What I find really fascinating, and credit to HBO, people that know the books tune in religiously every week. That's hard to pull off.

I loved this episode so much. I said yes so many times my girlfriend thought I was touching myself under the doona. Lol, not really. But it was so awesome.

And I'm really starting to love The Hound. And Arya.

And I loved it when Sansa slapped that crazy kid. And I loved seeing that horrible witch fly.

"Drags" is an understatement. I've wanted to reread them after season one and just can't bring myself to wallow through that storyline again.
