I think that's where a man cheats on his wife and then has to come home to change clothes in order to go to work. See? He's walking into the house, ashamed for what he's done.

Or it could be something else entirely and I just haven't the foggiest idea. ;=)

I know it as someone so incredibly hung over they have to go outside to "be sick."

Usually the walk of shame is where you are walking home, in the morning, from a place that isn't yours, still wearing last night clothes . Sorority life in college-happens all the time. The only shame is that I didn't do it

I believe iceprincess is correct. In fact, there is a movie called Walk of Shame (Not a good movie) that was out this year about this type of activity.

I always hate myself when it's over, but.... When I see a guy that's been kicked in the balls by some woman, I just can't help but laugh my ass off. No, I know it's not all that funny, and I'm pretty sure that it hurts, but... I just laugh and laugh and laugh ....and just can't stop laughing.

Ah, geez, now I feel terrible! ;=)

Wow, you and diablo are mean ones. Hope no poor guys ever make an advance towards you, they will get killed. I can understand now why you two don't know what the walk is since any guy would be scared to take either of you home.

To bad nobody seems to know what the walk of shame is even though there is a walk of shame shuttle at university of Michigan soon to be a reality show on VH1.

A woman started a shuttle service at the university of Michigan to provide post hookup rides for $5. VH1 has picked up a realty show about it.

For all of you who still don't understand the walk of shame (you know who you are) here is a great story about it via a PM

Met a rich executive in town on business (via CL)
We do lunch, the beach, dinner, a casino
He is staying at one of the most exclusive hotels in town ($500/night)

Was dressed casual for daytime activities, but changed for the night, which included a very revealing shirt and 4.5 inch heels.

Because he was there with work colleagues, we didn't quite walk in together. My heels clacking across the tile floor, drawing attention.

Short version: we had a great night. I had to wake up at 5:30 to get home. I hadn't been prepared to spend the night so had to wear the same clothes home.

Next morning, I get up, slip back into those clothes but carry my heals (the damn tile floors). I sneak out of the room, down the hall and to the elevator.

Elevator door opens and I about run over a lady. She looks me up and down and I know exactly what's going through her mind.

I practically scurry across the lobby floor, not even looking towards the front desk. I bolted to my car and got out of there.

And then I texted my sisters, giving them the deets.

Did it again the next night as well

I used to walk home like that all the time in college. However, as a guy, no shame whatsoever. Messed up hair, dirty shirt hanging out, high-fiving people on the way back to my apartment. Those were the days.
