1. If you're talking about me, I'm pl. PL is PennLady. We established this just last week, to clear the confusion. We have a lot in common, but PL is a Flyers fan. pl is a Bruins fan. That is an irreconcilable difference.

All the normal guidelines for Lit stories follow. The only additional requirement for this challenge is that the story begins with the exact line as it is written.

(Allowing for changes in punctuation, if you wish)

Lit's minimum length for a story is 750 words. There's no restriction on categories or subject matter beyond Lit's own restrictions. Once written and submitted, the stories will go into the Chain Stories category to keep the playing field as even as possible. At least they have so far and I figured they would this time.

My problem is that sentence had given me too many ideas.

I don't understand TOO BUSY.

Took me about 30 minutes to hatch a story idea and plot it, and another 30 minutes to rough draft. The hardest part was purposing the book, hankie, and knife, and that took 15 minutes. BTW those items were on Lincolns body when he was shot.
