Well - "deep in the woods" is not usually a term I've seen used in relation to things UK - that does tend to be more a US bit of slang...

However. US sizes tend to run about 4 smaller than UK. So a 22 UK would be a 18 here. May be the other way around - it's what I recall.

So - again - it's just a point of reference.
