That happened to my cat! Fill-in vet gave him a pain med which caused his kidneys to go wonky. Scared the crap out of everybody, had us all thinking his kidneys had failed, but everything stabilized once they figured out what they were doing wrong and took him off the medicine. It did take a little bit for him to recover though.

Hopefully you're like my cat - in that way.

Thanks! It is getting somewhat better. I can eat more than I had be able to, and keep it down. A lot of stuff still doesn't taste right, though, and I want that fixed, dammit!

It is VERY IMPORTANT that folks understand that the prep has gotten much, much easier than it used to be.

Yes, there is fasting and, yes, there is the clean out process— but there is no more "chalk" to drink. The laxative is now all but tasteless.

The entire process, from start to finish, can now be done in as little as 24 hours.

Whatever the brief discomfort, it beats hell out of dying from colon cancer.

Two cups of Senna tea and an hour later you'll be completely empty after a 45 second power dump.

I wish I could afford to be cavalier about the future.

On another note, Pepsi Next? Meh.

I just decided to stay local at the MOA waterpark. That will work for us.

Is it as nice as the Dells' Kalahari?

That was my second thought, with forays to See's and Lindt at the MOA!
Maybe a few laps around Ikea if the kids drive you nuts.

This time it tasted awful and poisonous like drinking flavored salt water and made me very nauseous. It took 48 hour plus several days of soft and then liquid diet.

A friend very nicely distracted me on the phone through most of the process, but it still was icky. Thank goodness for speakers and mute buttons.

It's not as nice but it's a much shorter drive and the cost is quite nice. The oldest requested we do a fondue dinner so we will get that too. It should be a fun time. :)

that's more like it. :) i would curl up again, but two cat naps in a day could spell danger.
