Meh, horrror movies, it seems have devolved into torture porn. And that mostly just puts me off. Sure there's exceptions, but few that I've watched lately.

I agree, they are not really scary, just gory. The last movie I can remember that scared me was event horizon. It had a ton of gore, but I love sam neil. That latin phrase actually freaked me out everytime my husband said it and I was afraid to be alone in the shower for a few days.
