Yup, I try to be helpful, thoughtful and responsive to students, but when they don't reciprocate, then I'm sorry, but I'm not putting myself out. Ah well. Most are pretty good.

Haven't been to IRA since 2009 in Minneapolis. Always disappointed that the females who go are so reserved.

Ugh, frustrated tonight because I received a parent email, the child has learning difficulties but the parents won't get help and now it's my fault he's struggling...

You're not in that boat alone.... Suggested holding a child back today, explained it was the best thing for the child, that they would bloom and the parents said they would rather send them on.... So next year bout month in to the nee school year they'll beg to drop 'em back a grade....

Everyday, I remind myself, they aren't my children even though I love em madly..... That's the hard part of the job..... Can't take em home with ya....
