Submission of Comments Problem ?

Is it me or has anyone else suffered a problem in trying to enter a comment on a story?
Not only can I not get a comment entered as Anon (which, frankly I prefer, even if I put 'HP' at the end), but the latest snag is that the security numbers do not get accepted.
Ye gods, I couldn't get a comment in, after I'd tried to Log in.
I got returned to the start of the story.

I could not even report it as a Bug!

Yesterday l tried to report a story for underage sex and that wasn't working so I pm'd Laurel and she told me that the security codes aren't currently working.

I've had no problem with public comments, but I can't seem to send a private feedback to save my life. But it is great practice entering security codes..

I found that if you enter security codes in lower case they tend to work.

I just left a test comment as anon on Mavis's Car Trip. The security code worked first time - in lower case.

That doesn't mean it's working. You would actually have to fill out the form, and then enter the security code for it to do anything. Just clicking the button to bring up the form wouldn't be affected ( or result in a report being generated )

Think the reader mis-clicked and panicked. There's no way in hell you could accidentally send a report to completion.

Oh, I know you have to add details, I just thought it was funny, but....I think I did it a couple of times myself, but as you said never completed it.

Yeah, I guess you could take it that way. It was more along the line of dead silence on comments and then that's what I get through feedback.
