Concrete and PVC are what's likely to be used for the Crib-o-the-Future.


They still haven't factored in for repairs, and that's more what I had been doing lately anyway. As long as it remains cheaper to repair them rather than scraping and replacing, there will be work.


That said, I haven't driven a nail/screw in weeks. :(

I guess there weren't all that many shovel-ready jobs. :eek:

In hindsight, my sub-prime loan was a stroke of genius.

Hey, there will be more repairs needed, every cloud has to be inspected for that silver lining.

Yeah, and when economists made their 1.2% projection, they never, ever accounted for winter...

As bad as it was, there was not even a week's worth of weather here that could have possibly prevented people from getting to work.

And I note, it wasn't a government innovation. Government job creation would have been the banning of power tools to make the houses greener.
 
Pretty interesting. I would think you will see a lot of natural feeling curves, domed ceilings.

The WSJ just this morning said much of the growth shortfall could be attributed to the especially (as in abnormally) harsh winter.
