Joffrey Baratheon. For all of your spoiled gutless tyrannical bullshit, you have finally done the viewers justice and choked. May you rot in the deepest pits of the Seven Hells.

(Readers knew it was coming, it's now official via HBO. Post your condolences here for our fallen shitheel king.)

Unfortunately my daughter had slipped on that on a few months ago.

Yeah he was one of the more loathsome characters I've seen in quite some time.

Now let something horrible happen to "little finger" and I'll be content.

Is this some sort of TV thang? (yawn) How exciting. Well, I'm off to clean the birdcage now. Ta ta.

No wonder the LW crowd spit blood and feathers! If you'd read the book you'd have known this ages ago. Not a clever thing for kids though.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but oh, this will be awesome. :) I have been waiting for this since reading the books. Many people will consider this some justice for the Red Wedding.

I've read that the actor who played him is a) a really nice guy and b) may not act any more after this. He didn't like the celebrity aspect.

Unfortunately, Littlefinger was doing okay last I checked. I've read all the books to date and am pretty sure, though by no means positive, he was alive at the end of all that. Which doesn't mean he's safe, but GRR Martin doesn't necessarily punish the bad and reward the good (though he does sometimes).

Ding dong, dichish king is dead :D

He was the only character on that show I had zero sympathy for.

He did an awesome job at being loathsome...even the way he looked. Kudos to casting.

Yeah, Littlefinger got to a point, but his story sort of faded. Maybe all the major threads will get tied up in the final book(s).

And since you haven't read the books, brace yourself. :)

I knew it was coming having read the books. My wife asked me a hundred times if he was really dead. I assured her Joffrey would torment her no longer. She jumped for joy.

Interesting the reaction we have to his death. I mean of course we're happy. But as said that was great casting, and in my opinion good job on characters by Martin. I like reading something that has you feeling strongly about characters, rather than flat uninteresting ones. Whether that feeling be love or hate it makes a good read I think.

And so another leech hits the flames.
