Hooray! after 11 years of casualties, we finally had one whole month without a combat death.
121,737 casualties, of course that doesn't count the opposing casualties, so who knows how many were effected by the Bush/Obama wars?
For the first time since 2007, no US troops were killed in Afghanistan in March, and for the first time since early 2003 no US troops were killed in combat anywhere in the world for a whole month.
In late February, Michael Munk had reported,
“… during the period ending Feb 20 the official casualty total for the Iraq and AfPak wars* rose to 121,737.
The total includes 81,317 casualties since the US invaded Iraq in March, 2003 (Operations “Iraqi Freedom” and “New Dawn”), and 40,420 since the US invaded Afghanistan in November, 2001 (Operation “Enduring Freedom”).”
