Which Love Boat character would you be, or which one would you want to be?

In another conversation today, RS and I decided we would probably be the flamboyant Gabor sisters, getting drunk at the bar.

Charo is still available. I loved her as a kid. I remember my mom sitting there muttering about her being a slut. This is the same woman who had me convinced the song "Afternoon Delight" was about ice-cream. . .

Wow. I vaguely remember watching this show as a little kid and I can croon the theme song with the best of them (including mouth instrumentals), but I don't remember any of the characters very well. I guess I'll be one of the guest stars. Was Robert Goulet ever on the show? Goulet!

Very nice choice. We used to fight over who got to be her when we were playing Charlie's Angels at recess. No one ever wanted to be Sabrina, and you couldn't be Farrah unless you were blonde so. . . Boy am I ever showing my age there!

CHIPS, Knots Landing, WKRP, Falcon Crest and Dallas, Facts of Life, Three's Company, Hill Street Blues, M.A.S.H., etc.


It seems most television today is all remakes and variations of the shows from back then.

(Did anyone else get that four-pack of episodes during the summer? Started at noon, and it was The Rifleman, Rat Patrol, Get Smart and McHale's Navy.)
