The Café is for just about any topics we want to bring up, primarily from the POV of BDSM practitioners.Doesn't this belong in the general thread?
I applaud them all for their stand.
Article here.
You haven't been around here much or long, have you?.... I thought that anything activist belongs in the general forum.
You haven't been around here much or long, have you?![]()
The Café is a kind of free-for-all forum, topic-wise - pretty much whatever strikes us as interesting or discussable. BDSM Talk is more limited to topics, issues, concerns, and/or questions about BDSM as a culture or specific BDSM activities.Probably for good reason.
Suggestion to everyone reading the article: Don't scroll down and read the comments. The sound of the point whizzing over nearly all the commentors' heads is practically deafening.
Where I live, journalists often refer to the stream of comments after an article in the papers as "the urinal" and not the most polite word for urinal either.
Great article but a waste here where most forums have more than a little hostility towards women who are not here to act like sluts.
Not to mention ownership that claims a rule against rape stories yet has a non consent section that contains countless number of them
The lit answer to the women of brazil would be yes you do.
Why would anything activist belong on the general forum? Have you ever ventured over to that forum?Actually I am quite knowledgeable about the rapes in Brazil. This has been, to my knowledge, going on since the early 1990's.
However, my point was, I thought that anything activist belongs in the general forum.
And, seriously, if guys are such ravening beasts they can't be held responsible for walking around unchaperoned why are we letting them run free in the wild at all?
