Hi, I'm trying to find a writer to basically write the story of my sister and I throughout our relationship with each other as well as how it impacted our relationships with others. I'd provide all the details and will want it as close to the truth as possible so real locations and names (first only) would be used. It's possible that a more limited version including pictures of some of those involved could be made. I'm not much of a writer so I thought I'd see if there was any interest

-It would be best for you to start a new account, & write it yourself under the protection of anonymity.

Id rather not in the thread, if someone's considering working on it then absolutely I'd give some details via messages or email maybe

This idea intrigues me, as I'm working on some other incest stories to post here.

But the idea of using real locations and first names can cause serious problems. As I've learned during the course of my other writing, if characters in the story are recognizable, they can sue. And even if Joe and Melissa in Seattle are changed to Moe and Melinda in Portland, if Melissa recognizes herself in the story then she can cause legal problems. Same if anyone else recognizes themselves in the story.

Enough details must be changed so that there is no way that real people can recognize themselves in the story.

Having said that, I am interested in hearing more about the story.

Indeed. Of course, a LIT writer might have such a small audience that the people upon which their story characters are based may never be aware they've been chronicled. In the words of Dirty Harry: Do you feel lucky? And I recall some comedic screenwriter of the 1930's saying that if a writer mischievously invents a sleazy shyster named Elmo T. Quackenbush, an actual sleazy shyster named Elmo T. Quackenbush will sue for defamation.

You are aware that if an author writes up your story it will be published on this site, right?

I think I'm getting the picture, I suppose I assumed as was stated earlier that the limited audience as well as the disgression used by those that read this type of content would assure a safe level of anonymity

Your degree of stealth is up to you. You an obfuscate quite a bit by altering / anonymizing place and character names and details. Instead of specifying Seattle or Portland, say "an inland Western port city". That's easy. Turn your blond characters brunette and vice versa; that's easy too. I do some of this in my submissions here. But if someone I'd written about were to read my stuff, they could probably figure they were the subject -- and never invite me to dinner or bed again. So I can just hope that my family and friends, none of whom know my pseudonym, will never run across their adapted life stories. I feel fairly safe. But like I said, it's up to you.
