I read something about this site xxnx onn Lit about other authors who succesfully wrote about their own early sexual expereinces.. i wonderde how that was possible, went to the site clicked on a tab and immediately this huge sign popped up claiming to b the FBI Saying if I did not go to Walmart, or some other retailers and purcase a pay card of some kind and enter the code to pay a $300 fine I would be arrested. Has anyone else run into this, I can get to this site because it is on my desktop but my browser won't go anywhere. I swear to god I did nothing but I am scared shitless.

It would seem you stumbled on to some malware. The FBI wouldn't tell you to do that. They would just notify you that the site had been shut down and is no longer in operation.

You might want to run a scan, spybot, Adaware, etc. on you system just to be safe.

I of course used an incognito window that chrome offers.

You have malware. That page will help you disable it sufficiently to download Malwarebytes Antimalware to remove it. Or, you can download it to a flash drive/cd on someone else's connection and run the program from that.

The ads on xnxx often install this kind of malware. I would strongly suggest not going there unless you have good antivirus software installed, java+flash disabled, and an adblock add-on for your browser.

Thank you all so much for your help. even though i did no wrong my hands were shaking and my heart beat fast. This malware had official FBI seal and quots from applicable law, etc looked and sounded very real. Howver i did notice a few grammatical errors. Funny how the words FBI can make you quiver even if realtively innocent. "Paranoia strikes deep, into your heart it will creep. . . ""

Of course it is illegal to impersonate a law officer, and that person did. But I'm guessing the FBI would do more laughing about it than trying to catch the perp.
