Anyone else loving this series? It is exceptional...the cast, the sets, the battles and intrigue, and the sex....I am addicted ...after all I love Pirates!

I've been watching it. It's pretty awesome. I really like how they are using actual people from those times, like Charles Vane, Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, Benjamin Hornigold and others. The Nassau setting is great too.

I have to agree that the characters and acting are pretty damned good. It's kept me watching, though it kinda sucks that there's only two more episodes (from what I remember seeing from "scenes from the next). Seems like we were just getting started.

My husband keeps encouraging me to watch it with him because the current story I'm working on is an Age of Sail pirate tale, but I never seem to find time, although I really want to.

I love all things pirate, even the movies that bombed and no one saw them, like Cutthroat Island.

I sit there staring at the screen for hours watching him play the newest iteration of Assassin's Creed, since it's pirate themed. Loads of fun to watch. They use a number of legit historical persons as characters as well, Edward Teach, Mary Reed, Calico Jack, on and on.

Clearly I need to quit procrastinating and watch this series.
