semantics and necromantics

Rejected

Reason : Necrophelia

So, if a corpse wants to be reunited with a living fiancee that no longer wants anything to do with her now that she is dead, is this also considered necrophelia ?

I'm so confused.

:(

Just make her sparkly and fanged and resubmit.

Rejections for taboo subjects can be tricky. The most common taboo rejects are for underage characters and bestiality. "Underage" is any character younger than eighteen. This includes flashbacks and memory scenes, where an adult character reminisces about youthful experiences. It's best to avoid mentioning numerical age.

The necrophilia and bestiality taboo can be skirted by skillful exposition. We can write a fantasy about a character who has sex with a spirit who appears in the form of a wolf or other animal, just so long as she doesn't fantasize about it being a real wolf.

Necrophilia works the same way. The physical body must be left behind and any interactions will be with the spirit of the original inhabitant of said body, even though there is no difference in appearance.

I am a free spirit that cannot be fettered with these awful heavy chains.

Although I am quite certain that I have none and will never have any beastie poems.

Due to some other rejections, I have discovered I have written an inordinate amount of poemage about underage lesbians without even realizing it.

Now, if I could just write about some underage lesbian unicorns on an autopsy table .......

Don't knock it till you've tried it.

Leda and the not really a Swan

A sudden blow: the great wings beating still
Above the staggering girl, her thighs caressed
By the dark webs, her nape caught in his bill,
He holds her helpless breast upon his breast.
How can those terrified vague fingers push
The feathered glory from her loosening thighs?
And how can body, laid in that white rush,
But feel the strange heart beating where it lies?
A shudder in the loins engenders there
The broken wall, the burning roof and tower
And Agamemnon dead.
Being so caught up,
So mastered by the brute blood of the air,
Did she put on his knowledge with his power
Before the indifferent beak could let her drop?

W.B, Yeats.

I seem to have a submission lingering in Pending Limbo, one that could be rejected if it is consumed to hastily. Hopefully it is approved. I would hate to have to resubmit it with a note pleading my case that there is no phelias or alities being perpetuated. It would make me feel like I fumbled the football at the One Yard Line.

* crosses fingers *

I probably shouldn't be saying this but my poem, My Love For You was accepted and it is a rather necrophiliac poem. I think it's on here, I don't look at my own stuff that much. It's pretty obvious at the end the guy is fucking his dead girlfriend.

You bastard.

Beautiful(!) beastie erotics were written by Bolesław Leśmian himself!

As I said before, it's best not to mention a numerical age. This has been hashed out before. The basic idea is nothing which could be construed as sex with an underage person will be published by Lit, for any reason, or any amount of literary or poetic licence.

It's a legal thing. The owners of this site are the ones who will take the heat, not the anonymous poet.

What if it is posted in the forum instead?

Would that still be considered published?

The same general policy applies, but it is a little more lenient in the forum. We do have discussions about early sexual experiences and child abuse.

Laurel has the final word.

I feel I have to emphasize something.

I am not complaining that Literotica is too strict.

In fact ..... there is another site/publisher/competitor out there on the WWW that won't even accept stories or poems that Lit does, such as those involving incest or even content about arranged marriages because it inherently implies sex forced against one's will.
