Morning me!
My contribution this morning. Our back yard, rebuild of deck in progress. Yard needs mowing already. Isn't this still winter?

I'll get my color back after I've had my morning coffee. :)

These are my datil peppers seedlings. Every morning, I take them outside to get some sunlight.
This morning it's cooler here (not like everywhere else on the planet, but cooler).
So they're staying in today.

I guess you would be! Being from up north (suburb of Canada) I almost always forget to start early. I'm going to grow a bunch of hot peppers this year and have some seeds on order.

I want to make mash so I can make hot pepper sauces.

I bought 25 pounds of datil peppers last year and they were costly -$5 a pound + shipping. I got a nice yield of mash and I've made some really nice hot sauce with it.

Mash on the left...pepper sauce on the right.

Well I used to be in Nova Scotia...I understood all the growing...now I'm out west and it's so dry....you can't really even compost..I was told I'd have to container garden....

Mash..Is that like salsa....chow chow.

Hot sauce.....droooool....recipe?! (Bats eyelashes...flashes a boob..whatever works;))

Ps...litsters.....I love recipes.....share ...pretty please!!!! And good books....suggestions?

Mash is fermented peppers - if you look at commercially available hot pepper sauce the first ingredient is some kind of aged pepper. [you've got a PM]

Here's a recent recipe I posted...Peach/pineapple/jalapeno chutney

morning!! nice to see the old/new AV back... ;)

Running jib....working at home and food coffee....makes for a great day

Depends upon my manager's mood.

This morning I stole his spot-lite. Now, he's pricky and I have to respond to his emails

The coffee is divine though and I'm enjoying the discussion concerning starting seeds. It was -13 this morning and spring seems so far away

How do you like your device and how long have you had it?

Hi. I got it last October and have used it every day. I'm lucky as their is a Nespresso store not far from where I work so I can feed my addiction. I've got quite a collection of different flavours now.
