Now Kiss, don't lower your standards just redefine them, remember that standards need reviewing every so often to keep them fresh and relevant, peoples is just peoples we just put too many conditions on what we want and get distracted from the actual goal

Well its not like we didn't mention it, I'm sure Ms Moon will be able to fill you in. Now you're in the land of only one weather pattern, hot and fucking hotter. Only two seasons to worry about wet and dry and for those in the far north...shirt on season or shirt off season..having four seasons a year is now a distant memory, but I hear at least there is lot of water, unlike the central parts.

Anyway hang in there, you're a tough chick and I know you will adapt your way, keep smiling and I'm with Dom...were is the bikini pic...you'll be living in that gear. Can't have that cute butt all covered up now can we

As I'm reading your posts I just want to give you a hug...you poor girl....however I'm also laughing my ass off..man are you in for some surprises...but you know we will be here for you..from a distance .

I made the mistake of going up there one summer...I ain't going back or at least not at that time of year...I think there is one week in June where it cools down, however with this climate change stuff that's now hard to predict. The only place I found that was cool was Toowoomba, nice up there.

Hello to all the new people and another Melbourne local, this is getting multi-skilled.

Well it has been awhile since I was here last, mainly work with a busy new year but I guess everyone has had to deal with that. Then got sick, taken over a month to get over that one...figured out going to work is not healthy for me these days.

Nice long weekend for some. Moomba parade time today in Melbourne town, used to be huge and the school holidays were timed for the festival as well. That was when we had three school terms, now the kids get four so the festival isn't as big. The good old Libs fucking things up for everyone, even lost our Show Day thanks to them, now they want us to work till we die, guys will be dying during their working life and women will have to work longer for their pensions. Thankfully I'll be out of the workforce in a few years if not earlier.

Now for that annoying weather report, hot and chance of a storm...for those without four seasons in a year..its similar to winter conditions, low 30's and humid.

Sports report - 20/20 was washed out in South Africa...my job here is done.

I hope you are well recovered from your illness.

Did you watch the Moomba parade? You gotta love these polies that talk about community and then hatchet the traditions that bind. I'm completely convinced that the conservative side of politics has hoodwinked much of Aus into believing that only money matters. By the time the fog has lifted it will be too late, we'll be more coldly American to those less fortunate and the change will be permanent.

We've had it all here. Heatwaves and cold snaps. Drought and now days of drizzle, followed by severe storms, followed by rain, followed by drizzle...... It never ceases to amaze me how this country can go from crispy, crunchy brown to shiny green in a day after good rain.

We're now in the lead up to Easter. Lent is in full swing and the Bunnies and Bilbies are duking it out for supremacy. ( I'm barracking for the Bilbies )

Off to get my flu shot this week. This'll be my third. They've worked so well the past 2 years, I don't know why I didn't get them sooner.

Wow you had a lot of stuff. Not like an international horsing event, two rock festivals, clipsal (you know that car race that doesn't run at a loss LOL) international arts festival oh and the rolling stones in a week or so. But yours is Good.
