Why I like people. :)
Yesterday was so hot here. My car broke down in town. No warning. It just stopped Boohoo lol. Lovely guy jump started my car and chatted with me for half an hour to make sure my car wouldn't stall. I gave him a hug and went on my merry way. Silly or not I love it when someone is kind and helpful.

What a splendid human being.

thør, I think it's lovely you stopped and asked him if he needed anything. :)

That's what we Alaskans do. There might be 300k people in my town now, but once upon a time if you went off the road, you might be stuck there until you froze.

The alternator in my Explorer went out last summer, leaving me stuck at the end of an off-ramp on I-95. I had called a tow truck right away and was standing to the side of the road waiting. I bet that in the 10 minutes I had to wait, 6 or 7 people pulled up and asked if I needed help. I was pretty surprised, actually.

It is fantastic to know there are good people who offer help.

The Moroccan Chicken Stew is just as yummy today as it was on Valentines Day.

Thank you for that.

Where the hell are we supposed to put another 8 inches?

My turret and breezeway are leaking, I see water and new water damage... I don't even want to think about how the curved walls will be re-plastered...

8-12 they said. I have a medical appointment and then helping with a move mid storm or I could just sleep ;)

Maybe the default ought to be that every newb starts on ignore, and people can decide to take them off or not.

Twenty-three pages of transactions and after an hour of matching there's a $25.00 difference. I was seconds from flying into a suicidal/homicidal rage when the missing transaction was found, which means no one has to die today. *whew*

It's my belief that February 19 ought to be declared "Nobody Dies Today Day," — one day where 50,000 people don't die.

I suspect you harbor a knowledgeable and well-earned sympathy for small business folk.

People don't truly comprehend these things until they've experienced them for themselves.
