Please tell me you're not planning on making it into your next pair of shoes.
it didn't make a sound when I walked up behind it, and I wasn't even a little bit tempted to pull out any feathers. bloody huge thing.

I made bean soup that is to die for!
I suddenly remembered a chanting game that we used to play over and over in the school yard when we were kids.
You'd stand behind someone and have them close their eyes, then start singing the chant, with your fists tapping their back to keep time.
::concentrate (tap tap) concentrate (tap tap)
people are dying children are dying :: X2
squeeze an orange on your head (lightly squeeze the top of the person's head) let the juice run down, let the juice run down let the juice run down, squeeze and orange on your head let the juice run down. (fingers running down their back)
::concentrate (tap tap) concentrate (tap tap)
people are dying children are dying :: X2
The next verses were "crack an egg on your head let the yolk run down" with the a light rap on the head and fingers running down their back. "stab a knife in your back let the blood run down" (hitting their back with a fist then running fingers down back).
You end with a story about them walking along a bridge or cliff's edge. "Walking and walking, walking and walking. Someone calls your name" (whisper their name in their ear) You look left, you look right, you look up, you look down (putting your hands on both sides of their head and moving it slowly in all directions) but there's no one there. "So you kept walking and walking, walking and walking. (move their shoulders as if they were walking) You hear someone call your name" (repeat actions) "but it's only the wind. (blow on the back of their neck) "So you keep walking and walking, walking and walking and you hear someone call your name. Before you can turn around someone PUSHES you off the edge!" (shove them so they lose balance and step forward)
Of course I had to look it up to see if anyone else remembers this game and was reminded that there was a whole 'nother part, where you ask the person what colour they saw when you pushed them - and the colour that they saw was supposed to represent how they would die. (i.e. red = murder, black = old age etc.). I wonder where this game came from.
The boys thought we were doing witchcraft.
I remember that game! Did you ever play "light as a feather, stiff as a board?"
