Ladies, does this ever happen to you?

I started a thread where I described a phenomenon that occurs when I write, which is that when I'm in the middle of writing a story sometimes I get so horny that I stop to masturbate. (Well, I don't have to, of course, but it sure feels better when I do...)

We've heard from the men on the subject (thanks, gents!); now I'd like to hear from the women. Do you have this experience? Obviously we get aroused when we're writing erotica--that's the point, isn't it?--but do you ever get so aroused that you take a break to play with yourself or with a partner?

I've had it happen when I inserted a person I fantasize about as a character in the story.
Normally it's when I'm reading the completed story that I lose control.

Though when I am writing, I usually am in my zone and cannot stop writing until I finish the scene, chapter or whatever. It is nice having biofeedback let me know something I'm writing is pretty good!

Never.....but when I read what I've written to my husband.....WOW....

Writing erotica almost always puts me in "the zone;" if I'm writing something and I don't get so hot that I want to stop and masturbate, then I know I'm doing it wrong (for me, anyway.) At least, that's true during the "creative" first-draft stage...not so much during post-edits.

As to whether I actually stop to go take care of myself, well...sometimes it's almost more fun to deny myself until I get to the end, and then give myself my little reward...
