February really is the best time to cuddle. Snow in some places, rain in others, and it's cold here in the Northern hemisphere. You can sit and curl up on the couch or in bed with your little one, warm under the blankets. I love that intimacy. Not always sexual, but so intimate.

So true and so special.

Hi everyone. The sun is shining. It ALMOST makes it seem warmer than 0 degrees F and -15 wind chill. :D

Possibly. But better. :D

Morning Daddies and littles. I hope your Friday is a pleasant one? Off to a bit of a dreary start, here. Overcast, nipply and drizzly. Nipply? Meant nippy... :D

But we got rain! For the second day in a row, we have rain. Being in a desert-ish area, that's a blessing. We're technically in a state of drought, so that's an incredibly good thing. I know you bunch don't want to hear about any sort of precipitation, but... I'm loving it! :)

Best wishes to all.

Kal. Very happy you have rain. We have some farmers here in Oz who have not had rain for 18mths - and struggling.

Good morning, afternoon and evening to all the Daddies and littles.

Hope you all are hanging in if things are difficult.

Thoughts are with you Serene and DD. :rose:

Of course better.
Maybe try to avoid gag-inducing activities could help.

Love rain. No rain here unfortunately..I am down with a cold so I guess it's only me and the fireplace.

You seem to be fascinated by this gag reflex. Should I ask? :)

I have to get this off my chest: (Already shared this somewhere else)

Today marks one week before St. Valentine's Day, or Valentines Day, a day when people are expected to be romantic. This makes me wonder: What are we supposed to be the other 364 days? Total asses?

I find it far more romantic to give random, "Just Because" gifts throughout the year: Flowers on a rainy day, a teddy bear when she's down or had a bad day, chocolate because work sucked, a card to say "I love you, still." Why do I need to purchase an overpriced and clearly poorly made jewelry on February 14th to express my love?

Next Saturday I will be buying candy at majorly discounted prices and handing it to those that I love and care for. Will they be upset because I didn't give it to the on Friday? No, absolutely not. Why?

* I purchased flowers on Monday
* Someone received a teddy bear this morning at work
* Another received a card in the mail yesterday
* And during the rest of the year, more little things will be bought.

I'd better get a rose on Sunday!!. ..lol :D

Hi TT!!! How was the date? I hope it goes great. You need the distraction from the job stresses. With luck things will change. No, I haven't seen or heard from Peaches. They've had lots of snow in that area so I suspect that's kept her busy. Sending hugs to you too!

If you are reading this----we miss you Peaches! Love you!!

I haven't heard from him since lmao, which is ok I wasn't really feeling it either.

I'm in agreement with you, a just because gift means more to me then something society tells you you have to do on a certain day

It's 23 here, surprising since it was -1 when I went to work

You had some much warmer weather than us. It's good since you had a mile walk today. :)

Watch out for sunburn!

But glad it is shining. Another 40c day here. Second of three we are to expect.

LOL, sun burn? We are a long ways from that. But the thought was warming. It's amazing the polar opposite temps we experience.

Showing appreciate daily or just because is very important. Showing sentiment is what matters most and not just on a day that Hallmark created. The ones in your life are lucky to have you and I hope they show that to you as you have shown them.

I'd better get a rose on Sunday!!. ..lol :D

:rose::rose::rose:x a million for you sweetness!

 to INL...Thank you for my roses Sweetie..

Consistent praise, direction, nurturing. . Is essential for a good relationship to thrive and grow.

You are getting out there and that counts for something too. I'm just kinda hiding from it all right now. Did they get the situation at work sorted?
Hugs!

Or a whole pan if they make them sugar free?? You lucky guy!

You are very special and wonderful, dearest RA. Never forget that? You speak honest and important words.:heart:

Oh no, these brownies won't be sugar free...though I'll be receiving something soon, that may be shared in literary form somewhere

Good evening to all the wonderful littles and the Daddies that treasure them. :)

Again, there's far too much that I've missed in my time away to comment on it all, but here are a few things...

RJ: I emphatically agree with your note regarding the manufactured holiday of Valentine's Day. I don't like being told when I have to show the ones I care for how I feel about them. A small gift here, a card there, a whisper in the ear. Little everyday ways to show my love is the best way as far as I'm concerned

Welcome to tina12345 and neecygirl, it wonderful to have you both here. :rose:

RA: You are absolutely right! Everyone needs those, not just the littles. ;) (((hugs)))

INL: I hope you're staying warm with all that bitter cold. (((hugs))) and

TT: I'm sorry to hear that the date didn't go as well as hoped. I know you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your Daddy and I hope it doesn't take too many more to find him. :rose: (((hugs)))

Serene: (((hugs))) and prayer for your mother and your little one. May everything go well and they recover quickly. And I concur with DD; don't forget to take care of yourself too! :rose:

Good morning, afternoon and evening to all the Daddies and littles.

Hope you all are hanging in if things are difficult.

Thoughts are with you Serene and DD. :rose:

Thank you, dear sir a week today still hard ... and last night was the first without nightmares

As to V-Day?? It was the big holiday of the year for my husband and I. We worked retail and from thanksgiving to christmas, it was just not possible to find a reason to celebrate. so we did V-day in a BIG way. Not that we didn't do alllll kinds of special things through the year - V-Day was just our celebration. Presents and dinner and lots of wonderful things. the 'bunting' and cards just made it more fun
