Sorry I've been absent - rehearsals have started for the show I'm directing at the high school and it's been an interesting couple of weeks. We were almost shut down before we started, but things are better now.
The relationship is progressing....and yes, she did refer to me as "daddy" that time in question, and prefers "babygirl" when she refers to me as such.Though there are times she calls me "Papa" when talking to her dog about me...which is fine with me.
How is everyone? So sorry to read about DD's pup - a friend of mine had to put her furry family member down recently, and it's something I'm familiar with.
I hope everyone's lives are filled with love and laughter...and a lot of naughtiness!! Love to you all!

She is having surgery either next week or the week after.
Her surgeon wants a certain other surgeon to assist in her operation.
Also too,
Little One has to have surgery on her tethered spinal cord.
Waiting on a surgical date and it might be when my mother is having open heart.

Work is slowly killing me. There could be changes tomorrow and I hope so, I miss loving my job.
I have a date tonight. Yes an odd night but we kinda wanted to meet soon lol.
*shrugs* it'll be good or it won't. I'm too dead after a hellish day today to be nervous and excited.
Hopefully it'll be a lovely end to horrid day.
Has anyone heard from Peaches lately? It feels like it's been a while since she's been around

Serene ... you know this, but I'll tell you anyway. Let the professionals do their job and care for the little one and your Mom. Your job is to rest, and take care of you, and be their advocate in recovery. I learned this in multiple trips to the hospital over the years. pack a go bag for you with treats and kindle (books/mags) and fluids and all the little things *you* need to camp out. Don't forget chargers!! See if there is a gym close by for a workout, soak/sauna and a shower. Light and vibes you you and yours

Logically I do know this. I just have control issues. My mother is having a double, possibly triple by pass on the 18th down in Florida. I find out tomorrow when they want to schedule surgery for little one, we are in the Carolinas.
Want to will it all away and I can't do that.

Hi TT!!! How was the date? I hope it goes great. You need the distraction from the job stresses. With luck things will change. No, I haven't seen or heard from Peaches. They've had lots of snow in that area so I suspect that's kept her busy. Sending hugs to you too!
