I called my teen aged daughter "bitchy"...that was cruel and unfair (although, frankly she was...). It is one of the biggest mistakes I've made as a parent, letting my frustration and emotions cloud my love and judgment.

Playing in the fields that surrounded my grandfather's farm and our property with my older brother. Tree forts, rope swings, hay, cows. Good stuff.

The city where my son will perform starting in 25 min (it's about a 2 hour car ride, but it would be like a 20 min plane ride). I'm going to miss it because I have to be here, but it makes me sad to miss it.

That's tough. I really enjoyed Yellowstone. And Scotland. And Florence.
