Yesterday went from 41C @ 5pm to 20C @1am - so today is cool.
Thursday to Sunday all predicted to be 40+.

The pool temp was 30c last night. It is an oasis in the heat - and we are away from Bush fires. :)

I hope you are staying warm and so is everyone else. Must all stay safe out in the white stuff.

Sorry I've been quiet, I spent the public holiday on Monday being productive cleaning, cooking and baking.
And yesterday, the first day back with the kids went as well as can be expected I guess.
I certainly felt the fact that I haven't been at work for about three months. One kid (who isn't small) spent a lot of the day throwing himself on the ground, almost took me down a couple times. Wouldn't look good having more workers compo again i'm sure lol.
He was more settled today thankfully. Just way too much change yesterday.

I was repeating the mantra "I really do love my job" over and over, when I got home as there was no time to think during the day about me lol.

This year shall be interesting I think

I'm just glad to know you are doing ok, albeit tired it sounds. Hopefully that kiddo will stop throwing himself around so you won't get hurt. Hey, I run that phrase through my head too!

Hey there lovelies & Gents :)

This is a really rough few days for me, and the years don't seem to make it any easier ... so I have been lurking beneath my blankets.

Interesting to see the experiment that is going on .. will the work get a Peer Review? hehehe

All in the path of this bad weather be safe. I am have been tempted from beneath my covers to spend some time in the barn ... horses are a cure for any little girl's aching heart. Daddy would be better, perhaps - but that is not possible.
