As a female on lit and fet, I get my fair share of PM's asking me to cyber, role play etc. Things to help the poster "get their kink on"

Now there is nothing wrong with cyber and role play and the like, it can be a lot of fun.
What is wrong, is that firstly; I am owned, my profiles, sig lines make it really clear that I am the property of another.

Secondly; it shows a huge lack of respect for me, for my morals and for my relationship.

Thirdly; what value would I have as his sub if I went behind his back and indulged with someone?
It is not serving him.
It is not working for his interests.
It is deceitful.

I become without value as HIS sub.

Although I agree with your post I think it's more about people and their lack of moral boundaries, at least those boundaries where a committed relationship is involved. I don't think someone would be likely to ask, as you say, to get their kink on if they didn't expect a positive response.

I'm not a good judge of cybering, it just doesn't do anything for me, but even if it did do so, doing it behind Jessica's back would be in my mind cheating. I don't really think it has much to do with D/s I think it has to do with respecting one's partner or partners and the lack of respect of another's committed relationship. Maybe even a general lack of respect for all committed relationships even their own.

The kinds of people who send mass PMs are not the kinds of people who are going to read your sig and/or profile to learn anything about you. If you want to put a stop to it, the very best thing you can do is go into your settings and put yourself in invisible mode. That way, you don't show up on the "Who's Online" list. It cuts down on the stupid PMs tremendously.
