Sheesh. You too? I woke in a startled state, my heart beating fast. I always think ahead to see if I can take a nap that day. Today is a no nap day.

I can hear someone talking in their sleep, but not clearly.

A bad dream woke me. This wooden robot came down the hall way and I had this paralyzed, sluggish, can't move, only in a dream state. He went to strike me and I tore off his wooden arm and started beating him with it and then ran out and then found out I was in a hotel room and had the front desk call the police.

Dreams can be brutal. Why is it the ones I want to repeat or experience chapter 2 never come to fruition, while the ones I never want to experience again seem to pop up over and over?

I always dream I'm reporting to a new command that is already on deployment. After arriving at the port of call, my luggage doesn't. I have a day or so before having to report on board, but I desperately look for the bags that have my uniforms in them as to make a good impression for my troops. Every dream is different in the scenery, but not finding the uniforms is always the same. As Floyd once said, quite desperation sets in as my time to report aboard runs out.

Then I wake.
