Aussies! Check in here!

Happy New Year, Mr Elf.

Hope the travel was offset by good company at Christmas. And I hope you achieve great satisfaction from finishing the projects you set yourself this year.

I'm finding poota games less and less interesting these days. Trying to find more time to read. More time away from work would be nice. Days off that really are off. Not resolutions, just acknowledgement of things off track.

Hope your job situation resolves in your favour. You've been moving in this direction for a wee while. More you time, indeed. :)

Hey Trisk

The travel day was just a long one. Good to see the extended family again and how the little ones have grown. Could of done without the traffic chaos on the way back.

I have two consoles, don't really like computer games. Tried them a while ago but using a keyboard and mouse just annoyed the heck out of me. So went over to a PS One many years ago and haven't looked back. Like the games that make you think plus they help to relieve stress after a long week of dealing with idiots when you just want to punch something. Some people take that out at the gym.

So far so good on the relaxing bit. Been watching the cricket a lot. Saw the Aussies roll the pomes once again. Out played them and frankly out classed them. Good to see the team bounce back.

Now if only the weather was a bit better I'd be able to get out in the garden a bit more. Lots of windy rainy stuff over the last few days. Huge gusts of wind came our way for a few hours. Rattling windows and heard it through the roof space. Even the birds weren't stupid enough to be flying around in that.

Now the sun is back out just in time to disappear.

Hello Aall

A flying visit to leave my helloes and fingerprints upon an unnamed Elfin one.

If you are going to bring out that camera Elfie lad, then I do have a request or two..;)

Hope that everyone had a wonderfully safe Christmas and celebrated the coming of the New Year in style if not moderation.

See that we in Brisvegas are not the only ones sweltering. I am threatening here to desert for cooler climes...I do so hate Brisvegas in summer..sighs.

Healing well and slowly regaining some mobility after the last of the surgeries....got my 12 month all clear from the Oncologist in December so a happy girlie this way....and greatly relieved. Just need the knee to regain full nerve function and movment and nothing will stop me. I am heading to England in June/July..so truly want to be able to wickedly wander the land of Geordies whilst there for the month working. Then I am off for the "tour de slut" of England before hitting Paris and Holland with my daughter who will join me in the former.

First though a little warm up trip down to the State of multi weather patterns and then New Zealand in the next 2 months.

Have a wonderful weekend and sin wickedly.

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

The "tour de slut" in England...wander if SBS will cover that...although if it doesn't include bi-cycles not sure they will cover it. The are funny about that those Europeans.

As for the weather, well whilst you Brisbanites were having 41 we were 20 degrees cooler with showers...how big is this country for that to happen? Crazy stuff and 49 in the middle of the country...Waiting for our next round of temps in the 38-40ish range latter this summer. Happens every year, well already happened once in Dec, see what Feb brings.

Tassie seems an odd place to go on the way to NZ...thought we had the best sales here in Melbourne town or so I'm told. Good seafood down in Tassie though.

Finger prints huh...may need to get Poirot on the case.

Good to hear you're on the mend and the knee is getting better, guess you'll have to keep bending from the waist till you get that strength back

If it turns out to be a long wait up there too, I may just do what I did with my son..... pay the surgeon and anaesthetist privately in a public hospital.
Mind you - this time I will have to get a loan as I pretty much cleaned out everything to pay his!

Hey WQ

You may need to consider private health insurance or beefing it up if you have it. You still pay some on the big stuff but at least you get treatment quicker. My brother was on a wait list then when he joined private health, he got treatment in the next couple of months.

Evening to all,

Well week three of hols comes to an end...only three more weeks to go.... where has the time gone...no wait I know exactly where its gone, that Christmas thing had something to do with it and that shopping. Staying away from the shopping centres till next week when things should be quieter. Did finish off a couple of bottles of Champagne in the Christmas / New Year period. Got more booze for Christmas so that plan isn't working out too well. Three disposed of and got two back...need a better plan.

Well the cricket is over and 5 zip amazing win. Now for the on day stuff next weekend. Been watching the American NFL as well. Don't know all the rules but its entertaining trying to keep up with what is going on during the game.

Much cooler down this part of the country but warming up end of next week with real summer stuff. So if you like cool windy stuff Melbourne is the place to be till then. Not much good for drying clothes or spraying the citrus..... unless you want your underwear to end up a couple of streets away. Now Ms Moon I meant flying of the clothes line...not where you left them last...

And we cracked 7 pages already...good for us

Seems I've neglected to introduce myself to my fellow Aussies during my time here. Hope you're all doing well after the chaos of Christmas and the new year. :)

Will do tomorrow
back in 2003 at our second get together. One night WQ and her partner
where having some fun late at night and she ruined the mattress by squirting
so powerful it ruined the mattress and hence forward the title R.I.P Mattress became the two words to describe her

G'Day All.

What's the good word?

How are those New Years Reso's going?

G'Day All.

Well the word at the moment Dom is that...its fucking hot with no wind.

Although I did find some cool breezes down near the bay yesterday, should of stayed there overnight. Thankfully Melbourne doesn't stay hot for long, cool change tomorrow. Not as hot a Perth with 43 but we get our turn early next week for the hotter stuff.

Afternoon all,

Well yes its Summer again in Melbourne town. For those coming to the tennis next week should be around 39-40 on day 2 only a balmy 34 the day before. So don't forget bring some bacon and eggs to fry on the seat next to you.

Welcome to the new people. Fishy - I'm assuming there is no fish in those fingers like the real thing

For those who are back at work cheer up, only another 11 months to go.

Hope you all can find a cool spot.

Hey Buddy.

Yeah pretty steamy over here at the moment, but am loving it.

You going to the tennis at all?
I'd love to go but time and finances dictate my actions at the moment.....

Hey Dom,

Nope didn't go to the tennis, usually watch it on TV. Not really a tennis fan but like to watch the better players. Had a couple of friends that went and boy did they not enjoy it. The heat that first week was just crazy stuff. Thankfully it didn't last for a second week. Then again Perth does have temps higher than most capitals in the summer.

Afternoon all,

Either people are on hol's or back to work for a new year of hassles. Last day of my leave today and well its finally raining, thank goodness. First bit of decent rain we have had for most of the month. Been warm and then hot then bloody hot for most of Jan. Even our cooler days were humid.

Thankfully the extreme temps last week didn't result is bush fires like we had in a few years ago. Still lots of them were around. Changed my plans to go driving during the month. So hopefully off this weekend for a bit of a drive in the country.

Hope all enjoy the long weekend and do something Australian...like get Chinese takeaway...

I have been away from this thread for a while..... I finally moved out of the house and am now staying with my son and daughter temporarily while I wait fot the ferry date (9 Feb).
Just as well I'm here, because - http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=983162
So it's been a bit hectic as you can imagine.

Tonight, I am taking a time-out.

I think a lot of us are missing in action... just the time of year I guess, life gets in the way as usual.

Sounds like a good plan, darkelf. We went to the Grampians today. Still a line-up of firies at the oval, but the town was thriving.

WQ - sounds like you're going through a really rough time. Hope your son comes out of it okay.

It's not so much rough, as busy.
Right now I feel like I don't get a moment to myself!
And in the middle of it all, I still have furniture to organise transport for, I'm doing maintainance on my car (don't trust most mechanics!) to get it ready for the drive, organising chocolate orders.....

Btw - Happy Australia Day everyone!
