However, it seems to have an aroma that is unlike either of the two alone. Has anyone else ever noticed this? Is this an illusion, or might there be some chemistry going on? Semen is mildly alkaline, and the vagina is typically slightly acidic, so there is a chemical potential for some chemical reactions. The vagina is acidic to control bacteria, and semen is alkaline to help the sperm survive the acid. Most depends on how acidic our juices are as to how much it changes the odor. It all still smells wonderful and tastes wonderful just a new scent.
