All I want for Christmas is...

I'll sit on Shanna's lap, thanks. As for what I want for Christmas, she won't even have to wrap it, I'll eat it there ... for starters.

All I want is for a young man to finally believe that Santa does not exist. The evidence of Santa is too compelling for him to to betray the jolly old man in red.

Santa Baby- I've been pretty good. That Kindle Paperwhite we talked about would certainly encourage another 12 months of relatively good behavior. Thank you.

Any chance Santa could hold me in arms and press peeled grapes to my upturned lips? *sigh*
I promise to be good :)

All I want for Christmas is:

Some peace and quiet.

On and off-line life has been hectic in 2013. A break from my community's affairs and concerns and family traumas would be appreciated.

I/we might get a whole two days off.

PS I don't mean that Lit has been hectic. I come here to relax...

Work to pick up so that all of our contracts are paid.
My boss to pay me all he owes me.
A normal dating life.
The Wolverine extended edition on Bluray.

I think I much prefer Shanna to Santa!

She can sit in MY lap and I'll show her exactly what I want. ;)

And then...when the topic turns back to what I want for Christmas, well....

...in addition to being an author, I'm also a game designer. About a year ago, we were sitting around having a virtual jam session (Skype), and a buddy of mine in Sweden asked me a question that, on the surface of it, appears to be, frankly, nuts.

His question was this: "Chris...do you think it might be possible to design a game in such a way so that, by the simple act of PLAYING the game, you could change a real variable in the physical world?"

My initial reaction was to ask for some of what he was smoking. Of course that was impossible!

Except that the idea kinda got under my skin, so I started fiddling with it.

Then I started obsessing over it.

Months later, assisted by lots of No-Doze and a few...let's call them "chemically assisted altered states of consciousness," and...I answered Daniel's question with a yes.

It IS possible to design a game that can ACTUALLY change variables in the real world, and having unlocked the methodology, the next question was what to use it for?

My answer there: to solve for the heretofore unsolveable. We could design a game that could, say..."fix" hunger, worldwide. Or homelessness. Or lack of economic opportunity.

Core design is about 70% complete. I got my real estate license to help fund the push to the finish line, so what I want:

About half a dozen closings this year to get to the finish line and get us to launch. :)

I should have realized that some would rather Shanna sit on their lap than vice versa. I'll edit the OP to give everyone that option.

Santa is always happy to give long warm hugs to good little girls. And he's very happy that you're into fresh fruit and eating healthy. He will certainly feed you peeled grapes...

Isn't stuffing vegetarian as well? Can I have some of that as well?
Please
If possible

I'm so good I get Santas Premium Service, and got my stuff earlier in the week.

If it isn't stuffed into the bird (which would be required for vegetarian) it's called "dressing." (Santa is well informed on such holiday technicalities). And there are certainly recipes that forgo both meat products (sausage) and/or poultry broth to create a vegetarian version of this yummy side dish. I'm sure Santa could whip some up. Traditional cornbread ?

All I want for Xmas are:

* My two front teeth, gold-plated
* Another good four-way
* The day after, when they stop playing the same damn music

Shanna can sit on my lap. Santa's going to take her to the manicurist and get her a set of pointed blood red claws-- and she can use them to scratch my back.

Ah yes, the porn writer is always near the surface:

Santa sits on Stella's lap so he can test drive one of her new strap-ons and Shanna sits on his lap so she can test drive his natural equipment so she can compare it to the new strap-on later.

I'm also glad to hear that JBJ finally got stuffed earlier in the week.

As for me: There was this nurse at the hospital with cool fingers and one hot ass. She kept asking questions about heart shaped butt plugs and a certain story of mine.

And how did the little nurse know that Mr X was better known in certain circles as 'TXRad' ?
There's a plot bunny there somewhere. . . .

There. Corrected your typo.

I'd like some peace for my wife, but she is not likely to get it.

Got some very bad news about my father in law. Terminal Brain cancer, they are giving him about a month so everyone knows this is the last Christmas and he is already not doing well at all. We're hoping he makes it through the Holiday

I feel for you. This is hubby's first Xmas without his mom. She died in March, small cell lung cancer. Its hard.

I wish the same for hubby.. .peace.

His moms illness and death destroyed his relationship with his siblings.

His moms illness and death destroyed his relationship with his siblings.

All too common.

My wife lost her sister to lung cancer 6 years ago(age 37) and still has a hard time dealing with that.

Her husband is an alcoholic and a womanizer who abused and cheated on her, she was filing for the divirce when she got sick and it never went through.

he kept the kids because the SS death benefits were over two thousand a month. We got a lawyer and had a custody battle, but the court determined they would be better off with a guy still on parole and with a history of domestic violence.

From there he of course took the kids down to Florida and plays games with people being able to see them.

He was called and is coming up no doubt think he is getting money. It is not going to be pretty with him involved, but that's my job. Its the least I can do:devil:

My wishes and thoughts go out to your husband. Six years later my wife will still break out in tears at the sight of a plaque or card in a store that is about sisters.
