Sandy Hook, One Year Later: No Gun Control in Sight

It pretty much covered that, Its just that one political party finally got elected and stopped spending lots of money for little gain, but it did a pretty good job of tracking guns.

If your wife called the cops on you for smacking her, the cops were there with a list of your guns and took em.

Not too many robbers use a 30-06 rifle to rob the corner store so most people did register

Don't they say that now?

That's what they wish they could say, but it isn't PC so they don't...they bullshit with "FREEDOM!! MURIKUH!! unless you're someone I don't like, then fuck your rights and your freedom - yours truly, vetteman."

More derpwood from the socialist mental defectice support group

Thank you for posting .... idiot

If preventing little kids from being senselessly murdered is socialist and mentally defective then there you go.

By the way how are your books sales?

That's bullshit and you know it brotato chip.

The pub's could come out point blank and say "I don't give a fuck, my right to be armed is more important than your right to feel warm and fuzzy about your security, or lack there of."

The left wing heart would blow a gasket and the blood would runneth over. "Oh my god all the children are gonna DIE~~!!! And it's the GOP's fault!! Look what they said!!"

I could also flip the script on you and say maybe if the left took the time to sound like they had a fucking clue, like even skim over a "criminology 101" book...maybe hit the cliff notes on a "modern small arms" book....15 fucking min of legitimate effort before they run their ignorant fucking mouths on the issue.

They might have a chance at gaining some ground.

But I bet you anything they stick with stupid and just keep trying to bash that square peg through the round hole. "More accessory bans and gun free zones...because those have worked wonders!!"

Fair enough. I would have loads more respect for them if they'd be honest though.

I don't think we're likely to get anywhere anytime soon an it's a perfectly good waste of energy. . .except the fact that majority of Americans, even depending on the report you read a good chunk of the NRA want better gun control laws. Otherwise it's still the left's abortion, something they'd be much better of ignoring outright.

Don't they say that now?

As bot puts better than I could, no not most of the time. Though they have grown increasingly bold.

The reason it was dropped, most people did not register their guns.

Jesus you are fucking stupid. No wonder you, ud, kingofTards are angry violent mental defectives. You pathetic little children need to stop blaming others for your failures as clearly you all are mentally defective

Sheriffs Refuse to Enforce Laws on Gun Control

GREELEY, Colo. — When Sheriff John Cooke of Weld County explains in speeches why he is not enforcing the state’s new gun laws, he holds up two 30-round magazines. One, he says, he had before July 1, when the law banning the possession, sale or transfer of the large-capacity magazines went into effect. The other, he “maybe” obtained afterward.
He shuffles the magazines, which look identical, and then challenges the audience to tell the difference.

“How is a deputy or an officer supposed to know which is which?” he asks.

See, for this to work, you gotta ban all large magazines, not just the ones people got after the law was made...and this would help at least a little in the large scale nutcases...since, you know, most of the nuts just bought the guns and mags a week or 2 prior to going balistic

The batman shooter bought a 100 round mag. It jammed, so he went to his shotgun. Just like the last shooter used a shotgun. No mag law would have stopped either of them.

I would too, god knows I'm not a fan of the GOP's 2 faced bullshit.

But you're right it's a waste of time/energy.

Yeah, but you gotta start somewhere...you do have a problem

and no, registering is not the answer

beats me, like they say, more mental health money, but nobody wants to pay for it

The thing that fascinates me about the people that says it's not because of guns that gun crime stats are what they are in the US, is what that implies. If it's not because of guns, it must be because of you. Congrats, you finally found American exceptionalism. You're exceptionally fucked up.

We're morons with guns.

Why is that a big deal?

Actually it's about the death of the American family. ;)

Legislation should be made from a logical and objective foundation - emotionally driven legislation is always bad. I can't have respect for politicians who would abuse a tragedy like Sandy Hook as an opportunity to further their own agenda, while pretending to feel for the victims.

As counter-intuitive as it may sound, the NRA seems to be the voice of reason in this debate...

I agree.

I'm not a fan of the NRA and their historically racist agenda, but in this case, they're the voice of reason for sure... which is a scary premise.
