Funny, Bear. That's what people tell me about the sex toy business....

Seriously, good luck with the writing and the publishing. I hope you'll remember us lowly scribblers when you hit the tour circuit. ;)

On a lighter note.......

Morning, anna. Coffee?

Good morning yourself, john. :) Taking a moment from your run over the pass? I still say that driving would be easier. Probably safer, too. ;)

Coffee would be lovely. I've swept and mopped both upstairs bathrooms and finished the ironing, so I think I deserve a bit of a break before cleaning the guest room. *hug*

Yes, I soon realized that running over and carrying three weeks worth of his laundry would be too much work, especially just sprinting for the bus has been killing my calves. So yes, I drove over and luckily the pass was clear. Picked him up after his last final grabbed his stuff and drove back.

Of course, no rest for him. Yesterday he and his friends had a Lord of the Rings marathon. A "Hobbit" breakfast at Denny's, followed by all three LOTR extended edition DVDs, part 1 of the Hobbit.....while playing Lord of the Rings Online I might add. Then seeing the midnight showing of Hobbit part 2. Did I ever mention I come from a family of nerds?

We cannot 'fire' our doctors like that. One might ask "for a second opinion" but that's it. Anything really wrong and your descendants can sue all they want.

Molly, I recall some of the things you wrote at the time, and most strange, not to say, alarming they were. But please tell me, when you refer to 'salt' are we talking Sodium salt [common table salt (sodium chloride)] or Potassium salt ?

Keep taking the tablets, me dear; I'd miss your writings. . .
:rose:

Now then, a glass of something, perhaps ?

That's what they're trying to do to us in the states. Soon we'll have no say over our health, the food we eat and who we can fuck. Bastards.

Yes, I'm talking table salt. Thyroid disease is rampant in my family--as is diabetes. I've reached a certain age and sugar is starting to cause issues. I don't have high blood sugar, but I can feel it every time I eat it.

Still, those Xmas cookies are sure good.

Morning all

Almost normal, whatever that is. Anyway, I want coffee this morning so I'll take that as a sign I'm going to live.

Welcome back, doll.

I've "fired" a doctor before. I went in with chronic lower back issues. He gave me a handful of sample anti-inflammatories and a figurative pat on the head. I left the exam room, went to the reception desk to request another appointment and asked the woman at the desk to please put a note on my file that I would never see that particular doctor again. The doctor I started seeing after that was WONDERFUL. She listened and we spent half of each appointment in laughter.

Hmm, reducing sugar intake would be a good thing for me to do....

Stay calm over the holidays, everyone!

By the time I got to that particular doctor, I was fed up--and he didn't get it. To be honest, I'd much rather risk death than set foot in his office again. The man was a real prick.

Have you considered Potassium Salt? (Over here it's called "Lo Salt").
Google got me this:-

Well, managed to pull the data off the laptop. Good thing too, the beginning to Chapter 7 was on there. Luckily the screen replacements are $50-70 and require just a phillips head screwdriver and some know how. Still eying that Surface 2 though.

The Mk 2 is out already ?

And, yes, a coffee would be most welcome.
And a glass of restoratif ?

Yeah, my brother and I got one for Dad for his birthday. I found it really nice to use as I was playing around with it.

Just purchased the replacement screen for the laptop. Should arrive in a few days, already took off the front bezel of the laptop screen.

So, this is my 2,000th post. I thought I'd save it for something special and then I realized that I could end up waiting forever. Besides, mostly good news from shea qualifies. :)

Oooh, anna! I get a shout out in the 2,000 post! I feel so honored!

Thanks for the well wishes, guys, I really hope this is the answer.

I'm just breezing through, I had an exhausting though fun day with the fam and I have to do some online shopping before it's too late!

No worries, Molly, doctor's piss me off, too!

Good Grief !
So here it is, late in the morning and there's no coffee on ?

OLAF!

Well good morning, HP, Tx. I've got scones that I'll share while we sit down for that coffee. :)

*hugs*

The last final of the term is always good. The last final EVER is even better. Oh, and yes, you may have mentioned that you come from a family of nerds. ;)

His not picking up on you being pissed is enough of a signal that he wasn't the doctor for you. I'm glad you were able to go through your history to figure out the problem.

 you too, shea. You're still getting plenty of good health vibes from this corner. And maybe a few more through that online shopping.... ;)

Damn... I knew we should have picked up a few more things in our quick grocery stop on Friday.... *sigh*

Good Evening folks.
Somehow, I seem to have lost the text of a story. I think my filing system needs fixin'

Glass of something anyone ?

Curses on this Time Zone problem.
OK, folks; the Coffee is ON.
You can get it whenever you wake up.

Mmm, coffee. Thanks, HP. :) I have some homemade cookies to add to the breakfast table. Oh, and they're reduced sugar for those who need to watch that. For those who don't, the reduced sugar does nothing to take away from the taste.

Today's going to be busy. I've got a little more housecleaning to take care of and packing to start. My bestie and I are going for pedicures this afternoon. All this before flying to spend the holidays with my family!! :D

Morning everyone.

These blokes getting up at lunch time. . . .

Thank you.

Okay, so I guess if I'm going to be a writer I'm going to have to write! Every day, six days a week, five hundred words a day, no less . . . at least its a job that lets me use my imagination!:D

I had a friend back home who had over 30 books published. When I was, she told me I had to write at least 8 hours a day, 6 days a week. She was successful in her lifetime. Her stories sucked, but she was successful.

Not a prayer of that! I enjoy the inside of my head but for 8 hrs/day? I don't think so! I can crank out 500-1000 words in about 2 hours. That's all the concentration I've got. After all, it's not like I'm trying to make a living at this . . .
