Well it had came to the season I color my hair a darker auburn... So off to Walmart we go, BTW, I hate that store, it never fails when you go in there for a particular item, no matter what department it's in, they will be out of it.... And staying true to form they don't have the color I use.... So I'm standing in the middle of the isle with several medium shades auburn across the top basket of my buggy... I have just bout made my mind up and say, "Fuck it!!! Grab a box of light and a box of dark in my brand, (which they have an overstock of BTW!!!!) ....and mix it myself...this is when The Hatter walks up.... I start my spill over not having my color as I put the beauty shop that now is filling my buggy back on the shelf... I'm getting an all to familiar look from him as ram the boxes back in their spring loaded holders.... I hear...... "Hey, babe, what bout this one??? It's kinda sexxy!" I do agree it is sexxy and being a woman in my 40's and not my 20's know all to well, it's toooooo red..... But, I see this little mischievous wink and say, "Oh, all right...."
as I place the last box from my buggy back on the shelf... I take the box from Hatter and grab another cause it takes 2 to do my long hair... Ya, know hair color really could use a supersize.... Anywho, I now have 2 boxes of a color I know deep down I should of never brought home in the first place sitting in front of me mixed and ready to be applied... So now I'm 20 minutes in with this mix on my head I know really shouldn't be on my hair when I go check it... Oh, it's a beautiful red.... if it were an article of clothing.... My hair is fucking mauve!!!!! I wash it 7 times, kid you not and still the shampoo suds are PINK!!!! So I TXT The Hatter and leave a message that he'll have to stop at another freaking Walmart after work and get me a color to fix this mauve I'm now sporting.... Well he gets there and calls me.... I have him describing shades of brown over the phone to me so I can pick one out to cover this mess of a color.... So after every shade of brown you can imagine has been gone over, I choose what I think will work.... Hatter grabs a box for me and is telling me goodbye...... When he says" Hey, babe, they have your medium auburn, you just wanna get it???" Before I can answer, he says.... Isn't that just like Walmart, when you don't need it they got it!!!!"........ FUCKING WALMART!!!!
So at 2am this morning I'm redoing my hair.... It's not half bad.... A little on the goth side.... But hey, I got plenty of black clothes to wear.... LMAO!!!

Thank ya, SC..... I'm still on the fence bout it, but I'm gonna wear it for a bit and see if it grows on me.... But Hey..... Ya know.... just think you can do it with a southern goth gal now..... lol.... But gotta repaint my nails first.....
