Lets play a game. Ill post random "Would you rather" choices. You guys must answer the choice and then post your own WYR choice. Everyone further must answer at least the last three choices people put up before posting their own choices.

I will start with three questions, beyond this point only one at a time please.

There are examples of this in actual boxed board games. The board game this is based off of had a card that says "who woild you rather see naked, Martha Stewart or Rosie O'donnel."

You have no right to dictate the sense of humor of others, the exact same way you don't have theright to make fun of ssomeone's sexual interests. If you don't like the comment ignore it and move on, don't pound on people like that.

I find that people who begin responses with, "By that logic," ALWAYS fail to use proper logic.

So here goes:

Logic would dictate that one who is not offended by a world where orcs rape teenagers and others enjoy posting about how much they would enjoy abducting and raping their mom, would make pointing out that someone may be large a much lower source of outrage than they do. It is not MY logic that is flawed in this instance. Moreover, priorities are an extrapolation of logic. Call me fat all day long. I'm ok with that. But call me a mom-abducting orc rapist and you're gonna have a problem. I'm comfortable living in that world on those terms, thanks.

Soemtimes making fun of something is just that...making fun...not everything is an attack and it is only when you take personal offense to jokes, that it gives them any power whatsoever. Let me tell you something. My 14 year old sister was raped and beaten by a guy at her school. Because of that I get pissed off at every single rape thread on this fucking forum. But I make the choice not to read that shit because I know it is people playing a game and nothing more. A safe way to act out a horrible fantasy. How would it be if I could shut down all those threads. The same goes for the blackmail threads and the furry animal nonsense. Just because I don't like something doesn't give me the right to berate someone about it.

How about you just accept that people are different then you? You know why? Because any decent person would see their privilege and say, "I have no idea how this feels. I should probably stop talking about it in a way that's offensive." The threads on here all have CONSENT which automatically differentiates them from actual rape. The fact that you would even bring rape up in this context is disgusting. The difference, and I cannot believe this has to be spelled out to you, is that you are talking about two consenting adults engaging in writing and, if they are responsible, doing so with a trigger warning at the beginning so that people like yourself who get upset at such things know to avoid them.

You, on the other hand, have decided to gleefully mock certain orientations and body types, with no other consenting party on the other end. Mockery and fantasy are not the same thing, and construing them as they are doesn't put you on stable ground here.

Why does your mockery have to be about people? Why does it have to shame certain groups? Is your humor seriously so limited that these are your go-to, and you can't come up with anything that doesn't hurt other people?

Because the woman I am going to marry, despite her best attempt not to be is over weight. That is something she has to live with not a life choice. She didn't wake up and say "humm I think I'll be fat today. With drug addiction you have a choice every day.

I dispute this false dichotomy. We make food choices every single day. We make exercise choices every single day. We make mental health choices every single day. I'm a perpetual fat kid. I try hard to get in shape, and it's hard. But it is not out of my control. I too have dated girls, LOVED girls, who are not in ideal shape. Those other girls with fortunate genetics are still attractive to me. Those who work at it and it is a bit harder are still attractive to me. But the reality is that I find some women more desirable. Women do the same toward men. We are how we are on both sides of the equation. Part of America's problem, IMO is that we too easily shrug and say, "Just something I have to live with," at the same time we have a fit when McDonald's stops serving breakfast at 10:30 or the local Whataburger gets torn down.
