Some stories by male authors say that when a woman's erogenous zones are touched, the pleasure radiates outwards in a circle. I have never once seen this detail in a story by a woman. Is this really true?

Even if it's not true, it's not a bad description. And every woman -- every person -- is different and would probably describe the sensations and feelings from sex in a different way.

How nice for that woman who is like a pond and anywhere you touch her you get waves of pleasure radiating out :D

I read one description of a man who feels pleasure going up his spine and radiating out from his chest all the way to his fingertips. Do all men feel this when they're pleasured?

You get the point, I think. In the end, the best way to write how a woman feels when she's feeling pleasure is to ask a woman or many women or read up on what some women write about or have written about what it's like and create your own metaphors from there. Different ones for different female characters. People look for how they feel in erotica, and so a good writer should be able to present a range of how pleasure is experienced not only in women but in men. :cattail:

I'm afraid we've never kept a protractor or compass handy with our playthings. ;)

So the answer is at least "it's not as universal as porn writers like to portray it." Several writers, like Zouscha, like to make it the defining difference between how their male characters and their female characters experience sexual pleasure, and that's clearly no more accurate than the writers who think the penis goes in the cervix.

I lack a large pool of people who I can ask "How exactly does it feel to have your erogenous zones stimulated?", so for the moment, I'll go back to being vague and talking more about the emotional aspects of sex.

Sure it is!!!!

Same goes for ALL black guys having giamongous cocks, EVERY woman having 38DD boobs, both partners ALWAYS having multiple orgasms (invariably at at the same instant) and every lesbian secretly wanting to have sex with a dude.

To say other wise would be to imply that most porn writers don't know shit about sex! ::roll eyes::

I asked my wife to try to describe it to me and she was like "well its kind of hard to unless you're in the middle of it. Next time I'll pay attention."

We screw around later that night then I ask her again and it was , "Oh, yeah I forgot, we should try it again"

For men it is pretty much "genital based" I don't feel anything anywhere else, but the main area. With women I do know its more internal, but I really try to avoid getting to detailed so I don't look as clueless as I am.

It does help to have a test subject available. Mr. Patientlee agrees. ;)

The internet isn't a "large pool"? It's the largest pool in the world and it's amazing what people are willing to tell complete strangers about their sex life. And here, on a porn board, they're even more willing. Heck, they write about it for everyone and anyone to read.
