Congratulations to the winners of the real 2013 Halloween Contest.

oggy, hold your horses man!

The A.I.R. winners haven't been announced yet.

Not even in jolly Olde England...

The Authors' Hangout 2013 Halloween Last Place (tm) Contest hasn't had any claimants yet.

That contest actually has entrants, unlike AIRhead's.

Ooo-er. I've been noticed by Them-that-must-not-be-named.

Well I knew that already as it was a bunch of dodgy votes that bombed the story down into the doldrums in the first place :D

It is theoretically possible to be a winner in the main contest, and to be eligible for the Authors' Hangout Last Place (tm) Contest within hours because of the trolls' attention to winning stories.

Two of my three entries had Hs for a few hours today. They didn't last.

Okay Now You Can Clap Oggy...

A.I.R. HALLOWEEN CONTEST 2013

On behalf of all of us associated with the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS I'd like to offer congrats to the OFFICIAL LITEROTICA winners (except for the cheaters and suckabouts).

I’d also like to post the HALLOWEEEN CONTEST winners as picked by the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS. These selections are not official LITEROTICA winners. Instead they were designed to reward stories that were the true #1 choices of our readers (OVER 1.4 MILLION READERS VOTED!).

And what a group of winners. Some of the all-time LITEROTICA greats.

We also like to take a second and ask all of you to remember the brilliant BOSTONFICTIONWRITER who was murdered over three years ago. Rest in Peace big guy.

Congratulations to the winners. All deserving entries. And congrats to all the participants. The stories were great, though sadly I still have a few more to go.

And Happy Halloween. It ain't over yet....

Yes Congrats to the winners

Who all just already happen to be mentioned on the homepage already!

But why not? This is, after all a more palatable group of winners to the two nobodies and a trouble maker who won the last one.

Nothing better than having your points proven.

Results are up.

Congrats to Tx Tall Tales, JJ_Kennedy_Smith and... uh... me, I guess.

My score jumped to 4.81 once all the trolldreck was scraped off. Congrats to the other winners and participants.

Congrats, everyone! I would have posted them here, but I was getting a root canal (honest). And here's the official link: http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=948785 (Thanks, sr, for putting it another thread.)

On to winter!

Thanks, and congrats to JJ_Kennedy_Smith and Manyeyedhydra. Many memorable stories in this contest. Got a kick out of Cornholed, Jeffrey's Murder, The Bearing and Labyrinth of Lust.

The last sweep was brutal. Lost 1/2 my votes. 607 down to 303. Score didn't change much, 4.87, and dropped .01 since the announcement. I'm guessing I have to emphasize to the readers to only vote once.

I'm off to prep for NaNoWriMo, maybe finish my FAWC-3 entry tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks to all who read and voted. I know it was bordering on Novel length, so taking out a couple of hours to read it was quite the investment. I appreciate it. And no more novels, I swear. Well - except for maybe next summer's contest entry, which I've been working on for over two years...

Congrats to all the winners of the one and only official Halloween contest.

Please, Don't be fooled by fake contests and or awards.

Yes congratulations :nana:

All worthy winners and three excellent stories.

I must admit that I had predicted the first place. Tx Tall Tales is one of the few authors who can craft a 15 page whopper that you simply can't put down once you start... an impressive piece of work indeed :)

The fifteen pages was pretty worth it. There was a lot to friggin soak in, and a lot of time spent with that house. But I think I bonded with the house as much as your main character. And the characters were so well developed that it held the attention. So novel or not, I don't think it matters since you delivered a great story. Congrats on the win.

I didn't get to read JJ's story either. With all the bouncing around I did reading the entries, I'm not surprised. I owe ya a read JJ. I did read the Manyeyed one's story, and as usual it didn't disappoint. Dunno what fits EH any better than a succubus, and his creatures are always horrifyingly beautiful to read. Well done.

I'm gonna get ready to read about people FAWCing now. Well, after the festivities tomorrow, that is.

Thinking of joining in the FAWCking fun??

Congrats winners!

I got my highest score ever on this story, so I'm pretty darn pleased.

Same here, and I've noticed that all my stories have increased in views and rating.

It would seem that taking part in competitions is great for promotion, even if you don't win. I guess it's kinda like musicians going on tour in order to boost their album sales...

Congrats to the winners. Maybe I'm a bit relieved that I didn't enter my story because I didn't have time to develop it properly (I went to Disney World with my grandkids so sue me). Against such great competition, I need to produce my best writing. I had a good plot that will only work for Halloween so I will spend all year polishing it for 2014. You've been warned.
