Ok, let's finally admit that it is almost Halloween and we must have at least a few creepy poetry challenges, well more creepy than usual. Cue the Bach.
First there is todski who has dragged some poets off to the dungeon to make a monster poem. And he's keeping it all verrrry secret, so you know he's up to devilment.

Vincent welcomes you to this the Death Poetry Challenge. And here it is:
Write a poem on the theme of death, interpreting death however you best see fit. Your poem can be erotica or not, as you choose. You can write in a traditional form, like an elegy or whatever you choose or you can write your own concoction. You can certainly write about Halloween if you want or any topic, but remember the theme is death, either overtly or metaphorically. You can use this thread to discuss the challenge but no posting poems until at least the stroke of midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on October 31st. That is 13 days from now and 31 backwards is 13, so get all comfy and superstitious and start thinking about death.
Are you in? Remember that your official entry can not be posted until the 31st. Why? To build suspense, of course! Suspense goes so well with scary and death. And watch your step in this thread. It's a little haunted.
