Yeah but she's going with this whole idea that outrage at somebody apparently abusing a child requires some kind of coordinated effort.
Lit outrages have been happening long before the advent of twitter. People are capable of coming to their own conclusions and posting of their own accord, without some kind of puppet master being there to pull the strings.
I get that she feels ganged up on but you know, I'm sure rapists and murderers probably do too. Which is not what I'm saying she is, obviously, but just because a lot of people think you're scum doesn't mean that they all conspired to do so.

Quite the contrary ...
Reci posted about an online relationship she had with a young man many years ago.
The mob squad immediately jumped her case, spinning, embellishing, condemning in their holier than thou fashion.
Reci courageously held her own. She continued to clarify misconceptions, ad nauseum. The mob squad wouldn't let it go, in true fashion as we've seen time and time again, they persistently continued their attack in numbers.
All the little soldiers showed up to throw in their pathetic pittance (read here: Sean)
And as before, a side Lit congregation is revealed ... much like the exposure previously of the Bob & friends chatlogs December revealed, the myspace accounts busting up on posters that the gang mob attacked, the pitiful Lit lint copy ... etc etc etc etc
All of the players showed up here and there to condemn Reci ... but the most admirable thing about the whole drama was ...
Recidiva courageously stood strong, countered every charge, clarified herself even when it wasn't necessary and is the one person ever on Lit who conquered the mob.
Kudos to her husband for standing strong by her side.

No, that's the misinterpretation of what she said. She laughed about it because so many of you obviously have reading comprehension issues.
Now that enough "someones" complained to get the original posts removed you can carry on with however you wish to interpret things. But that's the ick in your own heads. Nothing anyone says will ever convince you otherwise because you have your collective minds made up as to what happened. Any attempt at clarification is called backtracking or being a "fucking liar" as Wings so delicately put it.
Being tipped off to the twitter banter was just icing and explained a lot of alliances around here, why some pile on, why some sit silently by. I'd probably keep quiet too if I had this lot standing about, torches in hand, waiting for the next witch to come along.

But she can't play it both ways.
I would find it much more honest to just accept a mistake was made, and move on.
To keep saying we are all meanie boo boo heads and she wasn't wrong is the issue.
