I explained earlier that my thought process was this:

"Hm. Crime of Passion. No, I don't think I could say I did something like that. No criminal activity in the pursuit of Passion."

BUT. I kinda like subdued_passion and I would like to participate, so here, there's this story. I'm going to make it sound like something that looks like a crime and then I can get down to talking about the subject of how it is not always easy to tell when someone is a minor online combined with how appearances are not reality and our expectations can fool us.

I wrote my opening post in a jokey way to fit the theme of the thread and I didn't think for a millisecond that it would cause a raised eyebrow other than that "That sounds like a fun story." "Oh, it was, I got played hard (disclaimer. use of hyperbole or game terms by Recidiva should not be interpreted as a legal admission by said poster) by a 14 year old on the Internet. You can't always tell when someone's young because I know I was a smart young person and he was a smart young person. Does everybody on Lit think that there are no minors here really?"

It was of interest to me.

I did not write my initial post to be analyzed like a brief to the Supreme Court regarding my alleged criminal activities. When I finally realized that not only people who really hated me were going there, but people who liked me, I started becoming more careful of my wording to reassure people that although it is none of their damned business, no, you can rest assured no minors were hurt. And I tried to explain that it's like asking me that if I met Hannibal Lecter in his youth and he was charming and clever and kind to me and adored me in the same way Lecter adores Clarice, that does not mean I participated in cannibalism and/or whimsical murder, nor did I cause those proclivities in him.

I have to say that the fact that it was treated like a prison confession was hilarious.

I answered all the questions that were placed to me honestly or in a clear blow-off if I thought I was not being treated fairly or even mindedly. If people don't like my answers, start asking the right questions. Plenty of people did so privately when I clarified that I couldn't elaborate due to site rules.

Eg: as you've read in this thread, Byron, when you, too, asked for the states the minor and the groomer were residing in at the time of the physical meet-up, suddenly the denial of the previous free offering of facts became instantly a matter of protecting possible harmful personal information from being issued...

...yet, there's not any reasonable danger which can result from the telling of those truths - unless it's incriminating.

I don't doubt that previous unpublishable information will be eventually offered by the groomer and her supportive husband, after they take a hint from you and come up with states which've enacted 16-year old age of consent laws...

...but that still won't let them off the criminal federal hook and state age of majority laws.

For I don't know of a state with 16-year old age of consent laws that still doesn't mandate that the age of majority is 18...
