I had lots of lessons in impersonating particular people and gender swaps.

There are some people easy to impersonate because you simply remove all character. Some people are hard to impersonate because they have a unique character, but they're also very easy to spot because of that.

So for your posting style, you keep it short. If I were to impersonate bronzeage, I would be paternalistic but benign, wise but funny. Keep it very short and pithy. Answer maybe...five posts in a night. Maybe three in a row if you are truly on a run. Always leave them wanting more. So to speak.

I could do a decent job of being bronzeage, but I'd actually have to do some serious talking to you about it and get into your head to get the real shape of things.

Some alts are easy to spot because they unconsciously slide back into what they were doing all along, they have no practice being outside themselves and having their character spotted by others with a mind toward critique.

I used to craft long thoughtful posts,which was fun because that attracted pm's of the "May I approach and ask a question?" variety. That is a powerful drug. Then there are the pics. There's not much opportunity for that sort of thing these days.
