Yes, I had a great time fishing. He was done by a little after 10am. We caught a few and released. In his mid 80s, he gets tired pretty quick. We had a nice lunch, and i'm about to go home and prepare for getting the kids for the rest of the weekend. I'm thinking about the State Fair for tomorrow.

And let me just say, Mutato, you and me, we are like kindred souls. We have been through some tragic, tragic stuff. It did not break us but it left us kind of bent. Now we are are trying to become unbent and rebuild, reach for higher ground. I don't know about you, but my bet is on us, your Angel too. :)

Thunder and lightning have gone, but it rained hard, so hard I could hear it over my music!!

We have had that kind of weather all summer though.

Perfectly sunny and then boom! Thunderstorm down pour and then, a few hours later, sunshine like nothing happened.

I remember my teen years, here in upstate NY, especially during the summer of 1981. Hot, hazy, humid days, sun out. Game time for soccer around 6:30, get half the game in, finish half time, kick-off for the second half, there'd be the sound of distant thunder, be so far away, we'd think it was nothing

Then BOOM! Close lightning strike, head to my dad's work van and other cars.

I rewarded myself with a trip to a Starbucks, to get some writing done, which I did accomplish. I also made MORE projects for myself.
