For what it's worth, in the only scenario I can imagine for a practical joke, Pink would be the unwitting victim/messenger, not an active participant.

i did consider this, to be fair: it's not above suspicion that KRC was KRC and was in on the plot to get pink to sleep with her (unbeknownst to pink) husband; once this was accomplished, and they grew bored enough, they decide to have 'the wife' call pink with her discovery. pink's post a moment ago about the wife asking her to be 'mean and pissed off' sounds . . . off. NOT from pink's pov, but a manipulative man/woman/couple could play it this way.

Omg, I never even thought of this.

And I've lived through many and many of this kinds of crapola.

There are a thousand possible scenarios, but I think this one is the least likely.

Or all is as it was, and Paul is not Mr KRC, and it's just KRC using Pink to make her break and making the rest up.

Not nice, and probably not so, but possible. Consistent with the Lit character, anyway.

My take on it from all this aftermath-ing is that Husband KRC came on Lit initially as a fantasy escape valve from reality, using Wife KRC as a cipher mask for funnies. Also because men are taken differently online than women and perhaps along with posting the sexual married couple photos and family stuff, being a woman doing these things gave it more gravity.

I'll also posit that the acerbically outspoken persona of Husband KRC on Lit is (possibly) a polar opposite of Wife KRC's persona in reality, hence the fun and joy of playing the role of a bitch for over ten years. That irreverent persona constantly got involved into the fabric of the Lit community on an organic level that doesn't suggest someone who was here just to get some strange from being a fake female.

I think befriending and then getting with Pink off the boards was incidental due to some discord on the Husband & Wife KRC's part in the meat world. Maybe. That's Pink's biz to tell for sure or not and at this point it's moot, but if there were any other women here who got grifted for sex by Husband KRC, we'd already be hearing from them in these drama threads by now.

The few people doubting the reason behind Pink's decision to come out and tell what went on is the reason why others will never come 'out' and tell stuff that could save other people heartaches and such.

I believe she did it for the reasons she gave. I believe she's embarrassed. I do not feel as though she's attention seeking for sympathy or anything of the sort.

about somebody on the GB - about who they really were, the type of horrible person they were and the sort of things they'd done to others - would you tell?

Is it your duty to warn others and to prevent further predatory behaviour?

Or is it your duty to protect the victims because the information getting out would hurt them - not to mention potentially result in backlash against them? (And also yourself?)

Is it better to keep quiet and retain your pride or to air the dirty laundry and reap what comes?

In most cases, no. Too many negative, gullible asshats and fickleness on the GB to reasonably expect most posters here to believe persons not prone to lying. Therefore, I remain quiet.
