Good morning Serene! Yes, I cant wait for autumn. The smells of dry oak leaves, crushed walnut husks, crushed apples and cider, faint odors of brush piles burning somewhere in the distance.....the first chilly October evening.....Halloween.....



Maybe Rj's doing what he wants to do now? I was faced with similar situations.... I dont do anything now that I went to school for. Plus, now his family can get the full benefit of his culinary skill!

I think ive run the a/c more this summer than ever before and im not an a/c person. I work outside and the hotter it is the better I like it.



I had similar fears about my 5 yr old, im hoping not to get any calls either. He doesnt like change but he is ecstatic about kindergarden. Im blown away.




Ill still get plenty of rest. Im hoping I get to see my daughters first game cheering. It might be a morning game. Im petrified about it because the older girls are training her to be a flyer

I was reading about autumn - that is my favorite time of the year. Especially Halloween. Some friends of mine throw a huge party and you must come in costume. This will be my 4th year attending. so far I have been the bride of Frankenstein ( my version ), a pirate, a Victorian vampire complete with individual fangs and red contacts. This year i am doing Renaissance I have already gathered my costume a long full skirt and form fitting top ,leather corset ( i cant breath but it will be fun )and a snood, a black leather belt to hang stuff on. woolen stockings ( its usually freezing and i spend most of the time outside). I'll all set!

I bought the corset at a Ren faire last year. It smells sooooooo good. I cant help it. I love the smell of leather. It will be fun to wear. Its pretty stiff. sitting may not be an option tho lol.

I cant imagine it will top the looks i got last year wearing red contacts. freaked everyone out. Got a lot of compliments on my outfit tho. Some of my friends didnt even recognize me at first glance i really went the distance on that costume.

If you're single, it's perfect. In all seriousness, I've had former co-workers that now own restaurants calling to see if I'd come back in, work a few hours a week. Most, when I tell them my wages laugh and hang up.
