Rep. Stockman invites rodeo clown to Texas

He'll present him with an assault rifle and say that's the way God wants it to be.

Where was Rep. Stockman thinking of having the clown show? Will he have a rodeo in his back yard?
Leroy Shafer, vice president and chief of operations for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, said his organization was not contacted about Stockman’s request.
“The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo had no conversations with Congressman Stockman and has no authority to invite any person to perform at our show,” he told POLITICO. “As the largest rodeo in the world, we only invite the top rodeo contestants to compete and we only employ the top performers in the rodeo industry. We pride ourselves on providing a quality, affordable and family friendly presentation that entertains everyone and offends no one.”

Because hey, birds of a feather.

don't you find it funny, how its okay to put a George Bush mask on...that's okay

but on the failure obama mask, and you are a racist....wTF - obama supporters are mentally ill people

We didn't need Bush clown masks. We had Bush himself for that.

He called the clown a performer. As everyone knows from the other thread, rodeo clowns are not performers. RJ Fuckwits said so.

New poll released today shows Rodeo Clown now topping George Zimmerman as front runner for GOP 2016 presidential nomination!

Well, Halloween in the States should be interesting. Will they ban anyone from wearing a mask that represents Mr. Obama? Will they forbid the manufacture of such masks? Up here in the 'frozen North``, I don`t recall any such outrage over a mask of President Bush, so it appears there is a bit of a double standard in effect. It seems it all depends on whose ox is being gored.
From what I understand, if someone is wearing a mask depicting Mr. Obama, it should be taken as a compliment because it shows that perhaps he had a real job before being elected.....

It just shows that America is over. Just like Canada, Australia, and many parts of Western Europe. That political free speech is even being questioned or viewed as "controversial" shows just how beyond the pale of hopeless the western world is today.

The irony is that liberalism started out advocating more freedom and more opinions being expressed. Today, its become a tyranny that is more and more absurd with each passing week. Government, media, entertainment, advertising, the schools and universities, pressure groups and foundations, even many large companies, all work together to enforce one of the most insidiously totalitarian systems ever implemented in human history.

Liberalism is different from other totalitarian systems because it operates in such a way that at a casual glance it appears not to be totalitarian and many people even today still don't realize the tyrannical nature of their society. That's what is truly sick about it. Most totalitarian states in the past, even those that labelled themselves "democratic," were pretty open about what they were doing. Post-modern liberalism hides its tyranny behind at least an attempt at a facade of noble slogans and media fuelled Big Lies.

I see the disrespecting, poor mother is still calling names to those that a) disagree with her, and b) win an argument or debate.

It's what happens when you're educated at a state school that's not known for turning out the greatly educated and relies mostly on their "amateur" sports to gain national recognition.

Don't you be an idiot too. Trick-or-treaters aren't tax-funded.

So we have this rodeo clown, an entertainer, who criticized a politician being persecuted and blacklisted and instead of sympathy for him, we attack him and anyone who defends his right to free speech.

I mean this thing is so backwards it would have been unbelievable in the America of just a couple of years ago. I remember one of the examples they gave us in school of "tyrannical governments" were those that made it a crime to criticize or make fun of the country's leaders.

In my wildest nightmares just a few years ago I never thought I would live in a country like this. We are not a free country anymore which is still kind of hard to get my head around.

With all the world's problems

solved. Finally we can deal with a real problem. Obama masks on rodeo clowns. Didn't they make an entire movie about bank robbers wearing president masks?

Because hey, birds of a feather.

So the goal of the left now is to destroy this poor man while at the time of Letterman-Palin, all you could think of is what a thin skin and lack of humor conservatives and Republicans had...

Seems this President's skin is not so much black as thin.

George W. Bush took it like a man.

No whining...

The most hilarious thing about 'ClownGate' has been the absolutely irrational reaction by the left, and most especially by the NAACP. I mean these people are actually taking the actions of a clown seriously.

Now if there's a smile on my face
It's only there trying to fool the public
But when it comes down to fooling you
Now honey that's quite a different subject
But don't let my glad expression
Give you the wrong impression
Really I'm sad, oh I'm sadder than sad
You're gone and I'm hurtin' so bad
Like a clown I pretend to be glad
