Justice for Trayvon??

Cynicism born of reality. It's the Louis CK thing of 'Don't they know who I am?' As if we're all descended from Caesar somehow.

#firstworldproblems

I'm descended from Caesars sister, Julia; his nephew Octavian (Augustus); and Marc Anthony-Octavia-Cleopatra VII.

Had the "news" on for a few minutes this morning, with the sound off. It appeared that the media and the "activist" groups are still going on about this thing.

Why do they have such a blood lust to send this poor Latino fellow to the gulag? He didn't even commit a crime, which the jury and ALL the facts in the case have verified. What is wrong with these sick people?

I'll ask it again, since when do "liberals" want people to be sent to prison? They used to be for letting as many people off as possible, even in cases where there was clearly a real crime committed. Whatever you feel about that, it was always comforting to know that there were people out there who took due process and the rights of the accused seriously and who believed that "its better to let 10 guilty men go rather than send 1 innocent man to prison." What ever happened to that???

They do not even mention that he is a Hispanic...

(He's got a little white blood in him.)

And what is that?

And you have proof that Zimmerman continued to 'chase' Martin? After all the evidence shows that Martin had at the least 4 min. of 'invisibility?'

I watched an interview with Martin's mother the other night. She went on about how Trayvon was dreaming of a career in the aviation industry. Truly heart breaking to watch. Primarily because the little criminal was lying bald faced to his mother. He took NO proactive measures to live out the dream he painted for his mother. Quite the contrary evidence shows that he decided to take the path of the criminal and the thug. Was he really so ignorant that he thought that a criminal record was going to land him a job in aviation in a post 911 world? Perhaps he believed that the immunity from prosecution that he'd been gifted with so far, by a politician trying to cook the books, was going to last forever......................dual career path?

Did Trayvon Martin deserve to die.............no. Did he, of his own free will and volition, put himself in a position where that was a possibility.................yes.

You keep using the word 'chase' and there is no evidence that that occurred. By using that term you are implying that Zimmerman brought Martin to bay like a good hound would a bob cat. And even if that were true all the evidence points to the fact that Martin eluded the 'hound', for 4 minutes and then returned to confront his 'tormentor.' I guess my question here is just how did Zimmerman 'torment' Martin? There is no doubt that Martin was irritated, but just going home would have ended that situation.

I don't absolve Zimmerman of all culpability, but in the end Zimmerman was acting within the law, of all states, at the time. Because at that moment in time all shades of gray, all ambiguities, disappear and it comes down to whether you die or I die and in that situation I am going to make every effort to make sure it's you.

Ishmael

Well said sir.

Gotta love the judgmental opinion of a soused old basic beige asshole gainsaying the knowledge word of a mother over her own son and his dreams. Like he was there from jump.

Story of America. Certain people will always have to petition for their humanity, even when their actions are the same as others who get lauded for the style alone.

and get bank for doing that style.

Derp is real, derp is good. Derp continues because derp be food.

A lot of stoners have dreams, and he was stoned that night, sworn ME testimony. He had a growing rap sheet and a school system that was ignoring it to give the illusion of improving crime stats. What you are demanding we do is to look past all the fact and get the right emotion, the emotion of a lynch mob out for revenge because a black youth died.

We have news for you, black youth die all the time, every day, usually at the hands of other black youth a lot like Trayvon and they all have dreams, but lack the ability to follow through thanks to the apologists in their communities who purposely keep them in the bonds 'can't do' because they are victims of the system.

They are victims of their own race.

You do not see the sons of the Chinese press gangs using history to keep themselves and their children down, you do not even see much of that down on the reservation any more. You cannot keep telling yourself that history is holding you back, running around with a chip on your shoulder because all that you are earning is not the respect of equality but the disdain of distrust.

Zimmerman was a tipping point for America. Negro teens were put on notice that wilding now comes with a tax.

I like how the President always talked about "Trayvon" and always called that other guy "Mr. Zimmerman."

And, I haven't read you people for a bit, did you hear him talk about Sanford and Florida as that place "down there."

Scripted to the T.

Way to go Al, I mean Barry!!!

Well it is not exactly his home town of Selma...

"...there just happen to be a few rogue protestors getting even for the killing of two thirds of the Trinity, the son (President Obama's portrayal of Treyvon) and the father (Obama thirty years ago) in order to please the important third of the Holy Trinity..."
AJ

Wazzup mah nigga?

Yes, I wonder why that little phenomena is not a hot topic of discussion...

:(

And, oh yeah Izzy, we get it... DERP. A most excellent way of proving that you are a Low Information Voter Example (LIVE).

Since black people are so often the victims of violent crimes why doesn't the NRA come out and advocate for arming all blacks? How come moar guns isn't the solution when it comes to black people?

the NRA advocates guns for law abiding citizens who wish to get one

STFU, with your insanity

Three basic facts keep coming to mind. These are the only facts that really matter.

1. The man with the gun chose to pursue an unarmed teenager who had done nothing wrong........The man with the gun did what he was supposed to dp, keep an eye on his community....he didn't pursue, he watched......it was NIGGA that attacked

2. The man with the gun continued to pursue........You made that up and then initiated a confrontation with the teenager......The drug infused HULKIG THUG attacked ZIM AFTER he was advised not to by the authorities..........He was told no such thing

3. As a result of that confrontation, the man with the gun shot the teenager to death............Good

Stop TreyVonning yourself

Yeah, the un-abiding are already armed and armed well thanks to the failed wars on Poverty, Drugs, and Ignorance (Education).

Some of these people have no more idea of what the NRA does than they do of the NAACP...

any wonder why COLOREDS remain COLOREDS?

‘Trayvon was a gentleman’: Jesse Jackson says Obama must translate sentiments into policy

http://twitchy.com/2013/07/21/trayvon-was-a-gentleman-jesse-jackson-says-obama-must-translate-sentiments-into-policy/

Thursday, Twitchy reported on Jesse Jackson calling Florida an ‘apartheid state’ on Nelson Mandela’s birthday. Now, he has released a statement about the Zimmerman trial.

Here is the entirety of Jackson’s message published on his Facebook page:

Trayvon Martin was a gentleman. He was kind to his friend Rachel Jeantel. This information has been lost in the case. We have Benjamin Crump who states that 1) Department of Justice has to answer whether people can be profiled by private citizens.
2) Stand your ground laws must be amended.
3) Trayvon’s parents have started Trayvon Martin Foundation. Please support and encourage people to join.

He went further, including calling upon President Obama to turn his personal feelings into policy.

Maybe he should boycott and deport himself from this apartheid nation...

1) not a crime.

2) Confronting someone is not a crime, assaulting them is, Martin assaulted Zim.

3) Hate to tell you this buddy but....you don't have to do what they tell you. 911 dispatchers are not LEO's capable of giving lawful orders b/c most the time they have no clue wtf is going on.

4) Yes he shot martin to death in defense of his life within the guidelines of the law, and not you nor the state prosecutor can prove otherwise.

5) FYI, that's an acquittal in all 50 states....deal with it.

I wonder if anyone will AXE the NIGGA in CHIEF about this

Hey yo, BRO....WAZ UP?

Obama co-sponsored legislation strengthening Illinois’ “stand your ground” lawCHICAGO – This past week President Obama publicly urged the reexamination of state self-defense laws (see remarks below). However, nine years ago then-State Sen. Barack Obama actually co-sponsored a bill that strengthened Illinois’ 1961 “stand your ground” law.

The Obama-sponsored bill (SB 2386) enlarged the state’s 1961 law by shielding the person who was attacked from being sued in civil court by perpetrators or their estates when a “stand your ground” defense is used in protecting his or her person, dwelling or other property.

The bill unanimously passed the Democrat-controlled Illinois Senate on March 25, 2004 with only one comment, and passed the Democrat-controlled Illinois House in May 2004 with only two votes in opposition. Then-Governor Rod Blagojevich (D) signed it into law.

(ex)TreyVonn (for now)

Innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury of 6/12 of your peers....just that simple.

The state didn't have the evidence to lock him up.

What I find amusing is the LWCJ screaming for lynch mob/witch hunt justice because public opinion is apparently a far better barometer for determining someones guilt of a crime than evidence presented to a jury in a court of law.

What a bunch of cocksuckers.
