A moment of logic and reason:

Zimmerman called Martin a "fucking punk" on the 911 call.

There was no mention of race except from Martin calling Zimmerman a "cracker".

It seems apparent that this is all about class inequality. "Fucking punks" can be any color, creed, or race.

"Thug life" is a condition brought on by lack of education and a disdain for authority. Basically laziness. Easier to cheat and steal than to work and follow the rules.

Does this condition affect minorities to a greater degree? Probably, but this trend seems to be changing as the middle class is being wiped out and the class divide is widening.

The criminal subset of society is growing, and it includes all races.

Really? Tell that to the rich and talented Hernandez .....Thug Life is NOT a condition brought on by lack of education, laziness or other....its just what you choose to be.

Hernandez is a Rhodes scholar?

He threw away his money and life because he chose the lazy approach of jungle law over enlightenment.

On the other hand, there are rich and talented athletes who actually have master's degrees, and who don't go around shooting other people.

The kid himself was all about race, he sees it as an effective defense against any and all authority, that's how he was raised, educated, and impressed, by the likes of Obama, Holder, and Sharpton, who are all about race themselves.

Demonize that dead negar, son!

....and don't forget to remind us you ain't no racist, nossir!

Never said he was, but he didnt need to do anything but show up on Sunday. Never said he was a Rhodes Scholar or even a college grad.

Its a way of life, because that's the life you choose, with some exceptions. End of discussion.

there are a lot of people who don't go around shooting people.....thank god they out number those that do.....

Easier to pick up a gun than do differential equations.

Laziness.

A few weeks ago I was in the parking lot at the grocery store, and there was a black teenager riding a skateboard right underneath a sign that said "no skateboarding." As I hate skateboarders in the first place I found that annoying, but anyway I was getting into my car, and just then a security guard came over and asking the kid to stop riding his skateboard in the lot and pointed to the sign. The kid started claiming that nobody says anything when white kids do it, the guard handled the accusation with very impressive poise, he rationally pointed out he would and does say the same thing to those kids when he sees them. He handled it quite professionally, but those kinds of accusations aren't something people should have to put up with when they are just doing their job and treating everyone the same. There was no indication that this had anything to do with race at all, but the race card was pulled.

Sounds like when I used to work retail, we would stop someone because they set off the electronic gate, have pockets full of stuff, and claim we stopped them because they were black.

No, we stopped everyone that set off the electronic gate, from eighty year old white women to teen Hmong kids, from middle aged Mexican men to young white women. It didn't matter, the electronic theft tag is colorblind. But easily more than half the stop on black shoplifters, probably closer to 80%, cried racism.

I had to go to court five times for assaults that happened by the shoplifters, one pulling and slashing with a knife. No one was hurt, but he was charged with a felony. Now it is important to note, we could not physically restrain them, but had to voluntarily try to get them to stay, or delay them until the police arrived. Even so, five times as soon as I said, "Excuse me, sir . . .", the shoplifter would start swinging.

Of the five court cases, four were black males, one teenager (19), one twenty-something, and two in their fifties. There was one white male in his forties, that punched one of my female employees.

Yes, that story makes me racist, and warrants a mindless derp from my ignore list.

People movin' out
People movin' in
Why, because of the color of their skin
Run, run, run, but you sho' can't hide
An eye for an eye
A tooth for a tooth
Vote for me, and I'll set you free
Rap on brother, rap on
Well, the only person talkin'
'Bout love thy brother is the preacher
And it seems,
Nobody is interested in learnin'
But the teacher
Segregation, determination, demonstration,
Integration, aggravation,
Humiliation, obligation to our nation
Ball of Confusion
That's what the world is today

The sale of pills are at an all time high
Young folks walk around with
Their heads in the sky
Cities aflame in the summer time
And, the beat goes on

Air pollution, revolution, gun control,
Sound of soul
Shootin' rockets to the moon
Kids growin' up too soon
Politicians say more taxes will
Solve everything
And the band played on
So round 'n' round 'n' round we go
Where the world's headed, nobody knows
Just a Ball of Confusion
Oh yea, that's what the wold is today

Fear in the air, tension everywhere
Unemployment rising fast,
The Beatles' new record's a gas
And the only safe place to live is
On an indian reservation
And the band played on
Eve of destruction, tax deduction
City inspectors, bill collectors
Mod clothes in demand,
Population out of hand
Suicide, too many bills, hippies movin'
To the hills
People all over the world, are shoutin'
End the war
And the band played on.

He condoned the protests as long as they are "peaceful" knowing full well that they would not be peaceful based on the protests already occurring. He did not, to go back to Izzy's one lone straw say DO NOT get violent and he did not say we are using the full force of the Justice Department to hunt down those people who are already doing violence...

That goes against current Justice Department policy regarding minorities and it is just local events now and there just happen to be a few rogue protestors getting even for the killing of two thirds of the Trinity, the son (President Obama's portrayal of Treyvon) and the father (Obama thirty years ago) in order to please the important third of the Holy Trinity...

For some reason, you're able to be lucid -- incorrect, but at least lucid -- for a couple of sentences at a time, and then things just kind of ... unspool.

There's no such thing as "white "privilege"," and Zimmerman wasn't white in the first place.

The ability to walk home with your Skittles at 7 PM without being called a "fucking punk" by some frustrated non-cop with a gun is sort of the definition of white privilege.

And you know who has had that right his entire life? Zimmerman.

It was my experience that people of all ages and ethnicity shoplift. A young black male in a hoody might be a shoplifter or could be a customer with a 4.0 grade point average and a full ride to college. When I was 14-15, I dressed like a criminal, but I wasn't.

True, after working an inner city store, I was transferred to an affluent suburb. In the first two weeks there, I had employees come running to me about a suspicious person. So I go see a black male standing in the aisle, wearing a very expensive suit and tie. His suit probably cost more than these kids made in a month. His body language was all wrong, he was simply reading and comparing products.

Then a few weeks later, same thing, only a teen black male in the candy aisle. He looked like an average kid, hoodies weren't a big thing back then, but his body language was all wrong, he was just buying candy. But the three white teen girls next to him, they had the right body language, I caught them shoplifting.
