Hello Board Members,

I'm new to all of this and just recently started reading stories on literotica. I have gotten really into it and my favorite so far is the "Beauty and the Geek" story line

I thoroughly enjoyed the detailed plot that is always upbeat. I couldn't peel my eyes from the screen, reading for hours! It has lots of lust (LOTS of sex!), romance, suspense, meaningful relationships, and drama, all packed into an intense story line.

If any board members can recommend me similar stories, I would really appreciate that. I mean really similar stories revolving around high school romance(s), lots of drama, lust, and suspense. Long story lines like Beauty and the Geek (15 chapters and hours of reading) is a plus!

Thank you all and I hope to receive some good recommendations, and of course contribute to the forum myself once I read more stories.

As noted elsewhere you've posted this, high school is pretty much considered underage here. And underage is banned here. So, you shouldn't find much of what you say you are interested in here at all.

I'm not looking for "underage" relationship stories. I'm looking for plots where high school romances are incorporated in. Seniors in a relationship going through drama because of college etc... The majority of those stories have 18+ characters

There are many stories about high school students here. I have written about twenty myself. When writing them, the author has to make a reference to the age of the students, preferably working it into the story.

"Spreading Seeds" is lots of sex and covers just 18 to what ever and 41 chapters. The weevils have been at the scores, I noticed.

Oh, right. ;) Writing a high school story and declaring the characters are eighteen is, by another name, just trying to have your cake and eating it too.

You know what audience you are seeking.

I enjoy reading stories centered around high school romances because it allows me to reminisce on my high school relationship.

The rules of the Lit story forum practically eliminate any mention of relationships between characters younger than 18 years old. There are no Lit stories of the type you seek.

As I said, I have written quite a few stories involving female high school students who are 18 years old. Usually, they are involved with teachers or some other men who is much older. The series about the hot blonde student is a good example.

Being a dirty old man myself, I like to write stories for other DOM's. :D

However, I have never written a story about two high school students having a romance. The idea of such a tale does not interest me right now, but it may sometime. :D

Yeah, as I understand there are cases where 18 year olds have just started the last year of highschool, for that reason there might not be many stories like the ones he seeks, but there are some. And Literotica forbids sexual situations between characters younger than 18 years old. I guess the loophole would be no sexual situations while they are underage and as soon as they are 18, the authors can start with the sexual content

Oh, get off your horse. People are 18 in high school just because someone enjoys that type of character does not mean they are a pedophile.

You're just pissed off because you have been refuted on both of this person's threads that High School is off limits.

Sour grapes as always.

You know, instead of picking on people and making snarky remarks, you should go check out your post for your latest book.

There is a typo in the blurb, very main stream professional.

fadedreality, if you'll turn on your PM

I have one I think you'd enjoy but I won't post it here.

I generally don't read stories centered around high school -- it doesn't interest me for a few reasons -- but I have seen plenty of tag lines about stories set in high schools. Some involve teacher/student, and some student/student. With the former, I've seen a lot that seem to be male teacher/female student and a lot that are vice versa. So obviously there's an audience there.

I agree with LC that enjoying stories set in HS doesn't mean someone is a closet pedophile and this is as close as they can get. A lot of people might want to enjoy reading about that time of life, discovering first loves and lusts and things like that.

Personally, although I didn't mind high school -- I wasn't bullied or anything like that -- it's a time that I'm not very nostalgic for, so stories in that setting don't hit (m)any chords with me.

Stop dissing my youth. The rules in the 60s were different than now. So I have trouble getting all the outrage, cuz the girlz is still putting out to older guys, and it will always be that way. The hysteria is absurd when you consider that Mother Nature hands out learners permits when kids are 12 or so.

There are loads of High School stories here, mostly not my scene, but not underage and certainly not pedophile.

High School is not considered 'pretty much underage here'. It is a popular genre that has given some really good 'First Time 'stories.

The scent of hopeful censorship is quite repulsive.

Any student who is 18 and still in high school?!?! Not likely. Unless they have been kept back for some reason. Illness, being a mouth-breather, jock itch, you know all those youth maladies. Not too sure I would even want them as a friend, let alone have sex with them.

There are millions of 18 year old students during the second half of the school year. To enroll in First Grade, a child must be a certain age no later than a certain date. In the school I attended, the minimum age was six and the cutoff date was Dec. 1. I met those criteria, attended school for 12 years and graduated from high school at the age of 17. If I had been born two months later, I would not have made that cutoff date, and would have graduated from high school at the age of 18. I would have been an 18 year old senior for six months.

The majority of my fellow graduates were 18 years old when they finished high school.

Yes, 18 hits during the second half of the senior year for most. That said, the difference in writing a high school story and a college story, is, for me, the difference between wanting to convey underage or not.

Or turn 18 anytime after December in senior year and are still in school for six months.

Or even summer school because they need a couple more credits to graduate.

18 and in High school is very plausible.

Where HS will get an author in trouble are things like "I was a senior, Jill was a sophomore." that there is a problem.

besides, truth be told I have read way to many stories using the expressions "budding breasts" to give a shit about someone declaring a senior is 18

Budding breasts are under age for damn sure, but slips through anytime and those readers are surely thinking "ohhh 13" which is exactly what that author would want in that case.

If 18 is declared in a reasonably plausible situation, it does not reek of under age to me.

But if someone thinks it does, that is obviously THEIR turn of mind and perhaps THEY should be looking at their own depravities rather than look for them in other people.

And that is the key. For you it does, that's your right to have that thought.

But not everyone thinks that way. Underage doesn't cross my mind if 18 and senior is mentioned.

Now 18 and a Freshmen for example, would make me wonder what the author's intent is.

But if the author can realistically establish a character in any setting is 18 then underage would be the perception of the reader and not necessarily the intent of the writer.

It depends on rules of the school district you were in when you entered 1st Grade. In Oak Park, IL, I had to be six years old as of Sep 30th. I turned 6 on 9/3. I spent my entire senior year as a 17 y.o., and turned 18 at boot camp that Sep. Others in my senior class had turned 18 in the previous spring, some in the previous fall. None had been "kept back." Their 1st Grade starting rules had been different.

As a military brat, I learned that the US is no more united on the question of when one is old enough to start 1st Grade than they are on anything else.
